Day 54: 7 days of run'n on plain tap water Ph`d @ 5.8 and the purple
creep is start'n, I ran a lot more sugars & carbs this round and it's still
winter up here with cold nights [low 60s in the room] so they'll probably
get quite colorful in the next few weeks, and the swells kick'n big time !

We must have slightly different pheno's .... mine doesn't get the purple coloring like that . mines more of a lighter lime green in the fans , even with the colder lights off temps this time of year . unless i'm under feeding her nahhhhh

The most i've ever hit them with was 2.0 & they showed a touch of burn with that .

mine come down on saturday . gonna pack my jar full & the rest is spoken for .... but thats it with her for awhile with me . i've got some DG's in the works plus a ton of seeds i want to get to .... including the Alien strains i got from puma .

OK, hey everyone tis been a while... found my thread back on page 7 !
I've been busy, busy, busy, with my other thread, it's always a lot of
work start'n out seedlings, especially while throw'n down a harvest
and trying to maintain the other gardens, but hey I'm not complain'n !
First order of business, I made a few slight modifications to the set~up.
I was using a set of net pots just like they sell with "the kit" and while
they worked, I knew something was missing from the mix... just what ?
Then while I was break'n down gear between runs I noticed something.
Stock lids.

The water line seemed kinda low and in addition, I was only using a small
fraction of the Hydroton rocks that my other set~up (flood table) used,
this just left the roots hang'n like stalactites and not really look'n all that
great, IMO they missed that Lil bit extra nutes/water that the hydroton rocks
provided, their kinda porous and give the roots something to grab on to as well.

So I sit down on a bucket, fire up a fatty and I ponder the implications...
Not being one too take nonsense like that lying down I set out too find a
solution to my dilemma, after make'n a huge ass mess at the hydro shop I
found these deeper pots that slide down inside the buckets, nice and snug
stopping about 2.5 inches off the bottom, just enough for my next plan...
So`s I turn my attention to another issue I wanted to resolve, oxygen !

Slip that puppy in there...

Then I hooked that to the inlet side of the controller bucket, so it
will only run while it's filling up and wallah another problem solved,
DWC meets ebb & flo bucket set~up... meets Sprouts fuck'n garden !

I'll post some plant pixs soon, gotta tight`e up a bit first, peace sprout.

Remember the system I suggested in the beginning.
It is 2 five gal buckets slipped into one another. Inner one has holes. Much like u have now. Those 10" Netpot lids I do not care for really. I have 3 of em I used 1x n they sit useless now. Ready to bang another one out sweet!

OK, this is usually the week I prep my outdoor gardens, veggys, flowers
and such... But not this year, we got another blizzard baring down today
12+ inches of the wet sloppy shit, fuck all... does winter never end !
I saw this though and it made me laugh... what else can ya do but fuck'n roll with it.
