As for the coco/hydroton, I run 6" plastic net pots and I fill those with
coco not, a coco substitute that IMO works better than coco, those pots
sit in my Ebb & flo table and I fill the rest with hydroton rocks, this allows
the roots balls to get as big as they want, without being exposed to the lights.
It also displaces about 75% of the water/nutrient solution and this helps
too greatly reduce the size of the reservoir needed to flood the table.
As for the few rocks sitting on top the coco not, it's really just for looks
as I doubt it does much else, hope that clears things up for ya...peace.

is so fuck'n stiff from hunch'n over while trimming I can hardly walk,
luckily I have the rest of the week off to recover, I better get smoke'n !
Here's a few pic's of the OGD's dry'n on the racks, it's hard to say until
their truly dry but shit man there's some bud there, hope'n for >2 lbs !
I only have two racks [bummer] so the rest is in brown grocery bags dry'n out.
And here's the next batch, had some trouble with the aero cloner, took
forever this time [25 days] better clean that thing up and soon...
And a couple of dirty girls as well.
