What's new

Takin time off to help.

I will more than likely be absent from the Mag for a while. The house is about to become chaotic, with the addition of a family from Louisana.I dont know how long they will be with us.
I spent last night shutting down the grow,no big deal wasnt much growin anyway.I just dont know how the guests will take it.And not something i wanna share,ya know.
This morning a local food bank brought us and our neighbor 10 cases of canned goods, and 5 sacks of dried goods each.We never asked, word of mouth got to them. The mother of the family, worked for a vetrinary clinic before the disaster. We think we have found her a job to start soon as she is up to it.
Tuesday we are planning to help get the kids enrolled in school.

I just feel great about helping this family.I hope each member here gives a ltiitle something in some way. If you can spare 5 bucks( every one here can, after all you have your net service still on) please do.

$5 is the minimum, not much but better than giving nothing.

THis whole disaster has wrapped me up like nothing else ever has.I want to be involved, and i hope evey one does too.

Right on girl!! You're an awesome person for opening your home to this family, and helping them through this situation. God Bless,,,,
Although I can't afford, nor have room to have a family move in with us here, i am going to be offing some buds and donating the money to the Red cross. Though it wont be a lot ( $200-300) it's all i can do, and am glad to do it. All I'd end up doing is smokin it up or using it to get more"stuff" for my grow. I believe i can spare it, and know that these ppl could use it much more them I.
Again,, way to go Jimmy!

:chin: I had $600 saved in the Amsterdam fund, I guess it is better used with the Red Cross. The link is quick and easy, please anyone that can spare any funds pass them on to the families in dire need. :badday:

Thanks for the link J. I can only hope it gets good use. I can't think of anything more compassionate than opening up your own home for aid and comfort - peace be with you and yours, your reward in heaven grows, I'm sure. Pop into chat when U get back! We're gonna miss you ya classy girl! :respect: :bis: :kissass:
