This is a Oaxaca male that was one out of four seeds I was gifted. The other three were females and it seemed like a great opportunity to make some beans. He's a wee lad in the shot below, and his flowers are yet to open.

I put the male and three females in a corner of the flower room for an open pollination.

There were lots of seeds. A couple dropped into a pot and sprouted so I potted them. First one was a scrawny male but the second one was a beast. I grew the male until it was flowering and brought it upstairs to collect pollen.
