O
My friend did not fertilize this plant except for some bone meal in the potting soil. I thought that this was the problem, but I have taken three clones of the male plant and they all show the same deficiency. I have just given my clones water but the lower leaves get gross and start falling off. Any ides? I was wanting to breed the two Kandy Kushes but don't want to pass along any hereditary diseases or deficiencies...

Thanks, good advice, SD. I was thinking the KK seeds would be F1s? IDK though......I would strongly advise a breeding project be an F1 on both ends.
seems to me this is Disease of some sort ... and clones were already contaminated when you took them.

Ya that's what I am thinking...but why didn't the female get the disease? Both were grown side by side and treated the same. Can disease be carried in the seed? And would it be carried by the pollen? I think yes and no...
Thanks again for any suggestions!
ozzie's right, wots PH ?i would suggest it's a calcium issue with general under fert issues...they look they could also do with more water
good luck
DEFICIENCIES CAN BE HEREDITARY
