Hello there Steele Savage, I've been looking over your list of genetics, they sound DANK! I'm interested in that old school afghani, but all of your crosses look to be of a very high medicinal quality. That being said, which of your strains would you recommend for back pain and migraines? I take oxycodone for the migraines, they (migraines) are quite debilitating, I estimate I've lost over a year and a half in my 30 or so years on this planet to migraines. Kinda feels like this :wallbash: , but from the inside of my dome, like my friggin brain is about to explode! :yoinks:

I'd really like to get your genetics rolling around in the CO med scene, the more quality cuts we have, the better off we as patients are. :woohoo:

Thanks for your time

Bud Good, welcome to GrindHouse. I too, suffer from migraines, though usually only 2-4 times a yr. I myself, can't smoke cannabis or do ANYTHANG while goin through a migraine, however many folks are finding relief ..... Zoolander had grown out some of our Sour Bubble BX1 1IX and found it to have very worthy properties of relief! Oxy is a pretty heavy drug however, I believe you may find a better solution by ingestion of cannabis, especially for severe back pain. If you have any experience in making concentrates and/or canna butter, I would highly suggest taking these routs. Eating cannabis is a more thorough way of using, and will keep you medicated for a longer duration. Here's a link to Dr. Fry's study on Ingestion of Cannabis (sorry bout tha graphs) : http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=98433 . My experience is that smoked herb has a limited value in pain suppression ..... try edibles.

Regarding our offerings, I hope to ship in tha AA in several weeks ..... Fer sheer power, I would recommend Mob Boss, tha power of ChemD is damn near unmatched. Combined with my Tang Tang, outstanding high/stone is what MB will be known for. Several fellas here have reported excellent findings in all our newest shit, so whatever choice you make, I'm sure you'll find some killer meds.

I sincerely hope you find relief for her back pain and migraines, any ?'s feel free to post

Hi

Back pain and migraines are two separate things really..

For back pain you'd want heavy indica dom. variety,,, K2, Bubble Dust, Rock Bud.
For migraines a more mild sativa type... perhaps a diesel,, Hawaiian,, or African cross (usually skunk).

It's really a case of finding the specific strains that help both conditions best... and cloning them!

Hope this helps :canabis:

Doc, I would theoretically agree with you, as I would think that tha power of an indica, while suffering with a migraine, would put too much ocular pressure on tha user, however, as Zoo had relayed to me; it worked for him. This surprised me as well, his findings, but everyone's chemistry is affected in unexpectedly different ways ..... For back pain, no doubt an indica hybrid, as it holds sedating qualities, but it would be best served to ingest. As stated in Dr. Fry's study it's tha other 85% of patients that are under more physically debilitating ailments. I wouldn't rule out tha power of a sativa for pain sufferers and tha like though. I.e my Tang Tang is incredibly high in tha head, giving tha user a very euphoric, positive experience; a benefit I believe worthy for this type of usage. I myself use cannabis a great deal, not only for chronic back pain but also for my attitude management and more specifically, immediate or short-term relief. Somethang that both a sat/indy indy/sat hybrid would do well for ....

Wow, 2-4 times a year??? I wouldn't know what to do with myself! Try 3-5 times a week. My scoliosis fires up every so often, but it's the migraines that are the bane of my existence. I was looking at Mob Boss, it looks and sounds dank, I'll have to give it a try. I haven't really had a good experience with edibles, only tried the ones from the dispensarys, all woefully weak. Next harvest I'm gonna have to try some cannabutter.

You're quite correct, they are two different pains. I find if I smoke heavy indicas, I'm wrecked for the day, so I'm trying to find a nice balance of back pain relief and migraine relief without being zonked all day. Right now I have about 10 strains, most totally new genetics to me, waiting for my harvest to throw in some: Jack Herer, Hollands Hope, Juliet, Bubba and OG Kush, a new Blueberry pheno (I have a sat. pheno going right now), all untested by me, but tested by others. In addition, I have a nice old cut of AK, circa 97-98 I believe and Bubbleberry (Sagarmatha, I think, great hash producer). Just looking to broaden my horizons, always on the lookout for new strains. :yeahthats Thanks for the input Doc! :)

Hearing that description of the Tang Tang makes me want to try your strains even more! :canabis: I agree, a good hybrid is always nice. Even though it can hurt as much as it helps, I love a good soaring sativa high, so finding a good hybrid with that high is simply great! I've always wanted to try C99 for that reason. I'm headed off to the Bay/Boo.

Thanks everyone for your input!

This is sage advice. I personally can recommend TFD's The Pure, DJ's Blueberry, Royal Hawaiian, and Bubblicious for back pain and Royal Hawaiian (taken early), The Pure for migraine's. I think we're going to be running some Bubbledust next time around, as I hear it's a medical wonder too.

BG, Yeah I suppose I'm lucky, comparatively speaking. And as I had said, there is a huge benefit to not just a pure indy for pain management ..... On a side note, I was messaged by another member here, recommending an intramuscular injection that worked almost instantaneously; I'll try to dig that up, unless someone else remembers before I git back with that. From what you've said regarding you're migraine condition, it sounds like a therapy you could really benefit from, if possible .... Regarding edibles from clubs, fuck that ..... better to prepare yer own, you know whats goin into it and can make it as strong as needed.

If we can keep this GrindHouse related Doc and KJ .....

Intramuscular injection? Like injecting hash oil into my head/facial muscles? Hell, at this point I'll try anything. If there were a brain surgery with even a 50% chance of success I'd do it, even under risk of death. These migraines are THAT bad. So an intramuscular injection doesn't sound too extreme at this point. :yoinks:

Oh, allow me to apologize for KJ and Doc, I know what you mean, this is your forum for your gear, but I appreciate knowing which clone-only's to keep an eye for. You can bet your sweet patootie I'll be ordering up some of your gear Steele Savage, as well as anyone else who reads this thread I'm sure, so no worries. Then we'll have clones of YOUR stuff floating around CO! :D :woohoo:
