Remember to keep one of those c1 cuts and train into a bonsai
Mom alota guys believe in genitic drift, I for one don't want to take the chance it's true, ledgend has it the first cut off a seed plant
Will yeild the best and have best resin production and faster flower time
Compared to the bean mother... So the legend has it like I said truth or myth I don't know but I won't chance it with my strains.. I believe JJScorpio has a sticky on the subject "all about bonsai moms.." I maybe wrong on the op name but the title is rite.
If your not familiar with the method it's worth a read...
Good luck buddy hope to see you around the boards...
Thank you all. This is my 2nd start ever. First grow got screwed after hurricane sandy. No generators anywhere or any "neighborly" folk that could lend a plug. Since then I have heavily invested on all fail safe mesaures to counteract anything mother nature or neighbor to thwart my efforts. I started this grow with the intention of numbering each and make a cutting of each then flower to see which dudes will be chopped. I plan to then keep the moms satisfied to make clones continously. The seed was incredibly fresh off the plant and all germed fast. The ladies will be provided for under a 400w Hortilux with glass tube and vented so all their children will be under a 1000w HPS inside a 8" glass
The clones have been transplanted from the solo cups to 1 gallon bags. The moms got a little hurt with last watering. After feeding the moms yesterday I discovered the scale I use for nutes was off by 8 grams and overfed some nitrogen but they will be cut a second time tomorrow.
Thanks Guru and been busy with a lot of new construction for the moms. I got the babies in their last week of veg in the new room before flip to 12/12. Moms will be in the new room a week from now. My last set of clones all died so I won't have another batch for another 14 days :/
Me too guys. Thanks for the support. I succesfully rooted the first round of clones (11 out of 12). Now tried two more batches to make clones and all 24 have died. Mom's are taking it well but the cuttings hate me. I might try next round with the top the 11 I have. If I get no success I'm going to have to flower the mom's after I pop new seed.
