special needs meds from hash oil

i prefer oil made from buds, but only for day use. the thc causes mind activity and keeps me busy.

meds made from material farther from the flower, are more sedative as it is heavier in cbd's and cbn. recycled oil (from an oil pipe) will accomplish the same thing.

oil from sticks will stop you from leaving the couch.

with this information, one can formulate specific needs meds.

oil too strong!

oil too strong!

ok. I was using tinctures to manage erythrodermic psoriasis under a trial here in Oz. my last meds got stolen in the post and the supplier can supply no more due to funding.

so I did what I could and made oil from my landrace sativa.

I put 10cc of this oil into 30 biscuits and find that eating ONE EIGHTH of a biscuit per day is as much as I can handle without turning zombie. I 've been doing this for about two months and I 'm becoming anxious ... not worried, but speedy and impatient. Like Rick Simpson said: I 'm up painting the barn at midnight.

there's nothing I can do about this sativa-only situation at present but have acquired some indica seeds to use when the plants grow.

my question is: I 've been a toker for many many years so I should be used to it ... but does my oil sound UNUSUALLY STRONG to readers?

allowing the oil is mixed properly with the biscuit mix I 'm ingesting 10cc divided by 30 divided by 8.
that's not a lot by my maths!

thanks in anticipation...

I've been a toker for many years too, and oil affects me the same way. Sativas are more edgy in general. I've build up a small tolerance compared to my early years, but tolerance only builds so far if I just get high once a day.

I don't know much about your specific condition (except what I can google). I don't know if you need high doses for erythrodermic psoriasis. For cancer patients, higher doses are recommended. To get to that high dose, you pretty much have to accept that you'll be zombified for a while. Just take increasingly large doses multiple times a day, and tolerance will go up and you'll eventually get used to it. That's for cancer patients, though. I don't know if you'll benefit from higher doses.

thanks m314

not possible to up each day's portion because zombie becomes great agitation and discomfort ... it's a truly horrible experience.

I do not know what my daily dose is medically speaking. I haven't much confidence in my source who told me one gram a day (!!!) for thirty days as compared with cancer's sixty days.

the trial I was part of supplied me with alcohol based and oil based tinctures.

so I 'm going to have to research how to make these once my indica grows.

my e/psoriasis is an immune system disorder which effects the skin. 'T' cells are at the root of the problem, whatever THEY are. the immune system identifies my skin as a foriegn body (ha!) and tries to get rid of it. so at the worst of the illness I was losing half a cup of skin per day and my heart was going for it trying to keep up the nutrients to make more skin. I did not feel good!

rick simpson says cannabis can cure psoriasis. med science treats the symptoms with various chemo drugs. as far as I have researched med science is stumped by this illness.

thanks again ... I will research these pages ... nice to have 'met' you!

Wilbur your issues sound tough to cope with buddy. I hope that indica grows fast and produces well for you. I made infused honey working with some heady Sativas. Soaking some fine trim in 100 proof for a week. I was shocked when I tried my first teaspoon in a cup of tea..I over did it. My dose now is more 1/16th of that. Everyones body and tollerance is different, along with how it effects them. I hope you find the right combination, be well..DD

wow, you do have an issue.

the raciness is thc related. if you cook your oil in an oil bath at 250degrees (we use quisinart or rival fondue pots for oil bath due to tight dead band), until all small decarboxilating bubbles are gone, quiescence, you will have converted much thc to cbn (which is sedative) you can eliminate raciness to a large extent. the longer you cook, the more thc to cbn conversion.

if you have any still standing, let it go golden for the same reason. decarboxylation then will make it even more sedative.

i hope this helps til your indica is ready. my best to your proactive solution.

feel free to ask further questions.
