Too stoned to figure out an answer for the last question.

Ok, SB was sold as several versions from bx one through four. Not so long ago the bx three and four were sold. Then I came out with the currently being sold early bx batch.

Those are almost gone but I have the new IBL SB seeds done now and they lean toward the early bx versions. I used clones from the Mom and bx one seeds and a bx one male.

This makes half the seeds bx one IBL and the other half are bx two. The seeds look good and I just got 100% germination on the first test.

I'm certainly satisfied BOG. Just trying to get her dialed is all. The shitty looking leaves from the beginning could certainly have been from deficiency somewhere, though my Bluelab Guardian stays pretty clean and accurate and the 600w was not even 9 inches away. Garden is getting plenty air circulation I think. Two box fans on either side of the vert are going pretty hard, plus I have the scrubber fan working with circulating air too. Daytime temps didn't get over 90 and I run CO2. I think part of my problem was my EC going into flowering. Sucks to hear about needing to go to 60 though. I was hoping to have an early pheno, but I think a lot of that has to do with the fact I should have been using bloom booster, and therefore cutting my Nitrogen out, way earlier. Thanks for your time and input. It's always appreciated.

Wow. Checked the fresh water addback reservoir tonight. They are drinking heavily. I am also noticing, since starting the liquid koolbloom, that the PH is just sitting on 5.8-5.9 while they are still drinking a lot. I am thinking next run with her I am going to start off with a lot less Floranova Bloom and a lot more liquid koolbloom as far as mixing ratios go. Tomorrow will be end of week 6, start of week 7. I am considering trying a flushing method I learned about on another site in order to start leaching (letting plants eat what they have stored in material) the plants early. I know I have toxicity in at least Nitrogen and maybe even Phosphorus and Potassium as well. Hopefully I can do so without harming the plants too much. I know in a perfect world I should have backed off on the EC towards the end, but in this case I feel I would not have enough time to let the plants cannibalize themselves naturally. Going to be doing some light defoliation tonight in order to speed this along.

I bet it stinks nice in there.

Interesting about the different BX's and now the IBM
Which bx were sold at the emerald cup? Which bx is the favorite of people?

So I'm contemplating whether or not to start flush at t-minus 14 days to harvest or let them finish up this batch of nutes (mostly Koolbloom Liquid) by continuing to top off with fresh water for another 4-7 days. Will post pics later so we can look at how they are doing and hopefully I can get some feedback.

Do your thing man. I don't know what to say about the flush. I rarely give my plants anything but water. Looking forward to those pics.

Dude. I finally found something I am worse at than growing.....and apparently it's taking pictures. No really I'm not even linking these. I cannot get a good pic and it's driving me nuts. I must have taken 10 photos. Going to try and get a better one tomorrow maybe.

The current nute make-up has swung from 1.8 EC (5.7 pH), heavy in the bloom booster department, to 1.2 EC (6.0 pH) as of today. Again, not sure if I should just let the fresh water addback take over for 4-7 days or if I should go ahead and start flushing now since most of my leaves have the claw and I certainly want to get that Nitrogen out of the plants.

The flush I plan to do is one I referenced earlier in which 2 grams of Epsom and 2 grams of Sugar (in this case I'm just going to use full doses of the rest of the FloraNectar I have left) per gallon are used as a flush. Apparently better taste was achieved this way while still maintaining enough ppm's to keep the plant drinking and alive. Don't have any strong thoughts on this yet other than I have the means and want to try it out.

I did more defoliation today. Going to try and defoliate every day, little by little, until I am damn near bare of leaves.

Really interested to hear thoughts on the flushing vs letting my addback do the work. Thanks for your time.

Here is a pic I think I got a bit more focus on. Wondering if I should go bare bones defoliation here or continue to gradually pull leaves off every day. Today is day 43 of flower I think. I also think I definitely need to go ahead and start my flush soon. So much green still in the leaves. Love to hear thoughts on this. Thanks.

At this point you could stop adding ferts and let them decline as I clear with plain water for the last ten days.

You can remove more leaves to end significant shading of buds but don't remove them all.

They are filling out some and should be pretty nice by eight weeks.

Ok sounds good to me. Flush has been initiated. I have definitely decided that my pheno would do better under horizontal lighting and in tomato cages. Less maintenance for me and I think it would help me pack on a little weight along with my new insights. Thanks for all the help everyone. It's really appreciate it. I will try to keep updating frequently.

This is a piece I accidentally knocked off while defoliating. >.>

Got knocked off yesterday and I've just been letting it chill on my desk. Smell isn't there because no cure and flush, but the look is there I think. Going to let it go till frangible and then light this baby up. Not expecting much, being it's 50> days, but I want to see. Also, I'm wondering if the purpling is me messing up the grow or just my pheno expressing itself. Love to hear thoughts on this.

Again, this is literally with another person holding so my shaky hands don't mess the pic up. Nevertheless, my phone refuses to really illustrate just how nice this looks.

Anyways, as always, thanks for your time.

This was a sizable ball of Sour Bubble bx2 hash from quite some time ago. Wish I still had the girl it came from. Hindsight is always 20/20 eh. This stuff was so gooey it had to be kept in the freezer or it would just run all over the place. Would post the picture but it's in my old gallery and I don't see a way to put it into the post in picture form.

Girls are back drinking lots. T-minus 10 days to go. I will get pics up tomorrow probably. Very excited to get my next batch in with my new insights.

Paperchaser - Next round try keeping your EC between 1.2-1.5 veg through flower. Feed floranova bloom until 40% of flower has passed, then switch to just koolbloom until a week before harvest. The last week drain your res and use just straight ph'd water. As an alternative you can do water only add backs for the last 2 weeks, slowly dwindling your EC to whatever the input source EC is (tap or RO).

I cracked a pack each of sour bubble, blue kush, and sour strawberry kush a couple weeks ago. Will be my first venture with bog's gear, excited to see what I find

Some pics from today's lights off. Seem to be fattening up here in the last days. Interesting that she waits this long to do so. I know someone mentioned that earlier.

I thought I read somewhere that BOG said once they purple they are done...I wonder if my room is just too cold, or if my camera is just showing something that is not really there. They look really purple in the pics though.

These will come down tomorrow before lights on. Would like to thank everyone that helped me out with comments, questions, and info. I am really looking forward to dialing these babes in next run (hopefully!). I think it's really amazing how much the girls have fattened up in the last few days/weeks. Seems like she waits till the last second and ripens as she fills up. Such a sappy lady.

I swear to BOG I will have a better camera and some sort of macro capability for at least the dry nug shots here. They certainly did purple up and that's with the controllers set on 75 day 65 night. Going to do the rest of the defoliation tonight. There really isn't many with a peristem (I think I am saying this correctly) left to pluck.

As far as drying goes, my veg room stays at around 75 and 50-60% humidity. Last time I just hung up the plants with leaves still on in the veg room and waited until they needed jarring. Wondering if this is OK. Also, wondering what others do for drying this girl in particular. Do I need to do anything special as a result of the nugs being so dense?

Thanks for your time.
