Sour 60 Indoor Seed Run & Outdoor Grow

I grew Sour 60 - 2 seeds planted, 2 sprouted. The big robust plant was male and the little twisted gnarled one was female. Curious to see gender on yours. Good luck with your efforts.

Yeah it has always seemed to me that the prettiest seedlings always turn out being males, weird. Always have the coolest looking leaves.

Okay, most all have sexed by now. I got to keep them under natural sunlight a couple days this past week and they absolutely loved it. I believe they will transplant outdoors just great. So far quite a few males.

This is a huge setback to me, oh well. I look forward to seeing how everyone else's sour 60 projects finish. I have to find a female first lol. If only I could just afford about 50 seeds for this season!

Well, three are being germinated right now in paper towels. If they become seedlings in a couple days then I will be able to harvest seeds 60 days after, so earliest seed harvest would be around june 20th. That is the day I plan to grow outdoors so It may only set the 2nd grow back a week, it sucks but thats the reality. I topped my current favorite male to stunt him and keep him living long enough to pollinate my future girls.

Does anyone know of the success of the seeds being able to germinate if i chop her before the 60 days mark? I'm talking about hundreds upon hundreds of seeds will be developing.

WestCoast4Life, Sorry to hear you got only males. I'd grow them out though, and keep their pollen for future dusting. I hope you don't mind, but I noticed you have some very flammable items in your grow setup. Like a cardboard box under your seedlings, and paper folders being used as reflector of sorts. Do you have a smoke detector nearby. I've had a CFL pop on me before, and the glass is very hot and flys everwhere. If you're not home during the whole lights on period, you are putting yourself at risk. You don't want to come home to the fire dept. and police dept. standing in you living room. Please review your setup, and make adjustments as necessary to protect yourself. Be safe and please don't take offense.

Good job man. I started growing outdoors and its wonderful to have the freedom to grow outdoors. Digging the overgrow additude, I just gave away 6 very healthy plants to my buds and boy were they thankful. I love the idea of all smokers growing there own mota.

Hey, Keep plugging away at your Sour 60. All you need is one or two girls and you will be set. I did a seed run of a mix of short stuff autos earlier this winter and it yielded thousands of seeds from 6 females. Honestly I don't understand why anyone would buy femmed auto seeds when you can so easily get yourself a lifetime supply of seeds in 60-70 days. The final beauty of autos is that in a 4 by 4 foot area you can outyield a long season gal by using numbers of plants. And the fact that you can keep them coming all the way to September by vegging under lights until sexing, then dumping them outside for the finish. Good luck

Okay guys, I am absolutely determined to get a girl out of this pack of beans. I have my two best males droppin their load onto a board right now and I am germinating the last of my seeds. Does anybody know how long I can store this pollen, thanks.

There were too many problems with the grow and in my life. I may be able to get an outdoor grow in the season. I will keep ya'll updated. I am so bummed.
