Smoky Mountain 2012 Guerilla Grow Show

The last plot, 2 lemon skunks (one is a runt, tried a slightly different soil mix that was way too basic).

Well, that's it! We've seen all the remaining plots in the last few weeks. Time to take a crack at the final yield. Any takers??

Update time!!

Checked out the test plot this evening. It has far surpassed my expectations from 3 weeks ago, when I last made it out there.

The first photo is a group shot:

attachment.php

The next two are of the Rocklock (just the top), with a close-up.

The next 3 shots must be The Church, because I don't have any other that look like it. I had it confused with the Lemon skunk, but the smaller plant looks so much like my other Lemon Skunks I'd be stupid not to suspect I was wrong.

The last two photos are the Lemon Skunk. She has at least a month and a half until maturity still. I won't be growing her outdoors again, just too late a harvest.

Enjoy!

Just finished reading the whole thread, nice grow why'. People who've never done it don't realize the amount of work that goes into an effort like this..

Happy Harvest!!!!

Yeah, it's been a lot of work, especially right at the beginning -- and I like to work, but it was more than I bargained for. I got really lucky this year and didn't have to carry a single drop of water after the initial planting. We're having our first small dry spell right now, it's been a week since it rained and it'll probably be another week before it rains again. But I can really see it being a tough endeavour under slightly different conditions.

Update Time!!!

I went out to my 6-plant plot yesterday. This is only the second set of photos of these ladies. I'm pretty happy with them. Their leaves are turning yellow much too quickly, just like the other plots, but I haven't fed them any fertilizer at all, so you can sort of expect that.

The first 6 photos are the Chocolope. She was practically on the ground when I got there, and, believe it or not, I had already stood her up for this photo. I gave her half my sports bottle of water, saving the other half for any others in need. Luckily we got a pretty nice rainshower last night so I'm not out there today desperately trying to get water to them.

The last 4 photos are the Rocklock. I'm going to give these ladies another 3 - 4 weeks at least, weather permitting.

The first three photos in this group are of the Super Bud. The next 3 are of the Blue Lemon Thai, who is doing quite nicely and producing more than I expected a few weeks ago.

The last photo in this set is 2 small branches that were dead and dried when I got here. I believe the larger one is Blue Lemon Thai, and the smaller one is Critical Mass 33. The flavor coming out of the critical is impressive!

The first 3 here are the Green Bud. Like I said, popsicle.
The other 7 are the Critical 33. She's definitely out of nutes and eating all her own starches now. At least it should make for a tasty smoke.

Ouch, honestly I'm afraid to see mine. It's still raining btw, nonstop since last night.
I don't really want to harvest today and I'm going on vacation for a week starting tomorrow morning so we'll see how they're doing when I get back. The saving grace is that they were completely bone dry before this rain started, but that only goes so far...
I'll be going out next Tuesday or Wednesday with my knife and a duffel bag. No guarantees.

Harvest time!!!
9 down, 9 to go first thing in the morning. I've been trimming all freakin' day. I'll post pics once I get out from under this pile.

Hrm, the Super Bud and the Critical 33 were both dead when I got there. I guess the rain didn't come soon enough. It looks like they're entirely salvageable. The Rocklock and the Blue Lemon Thai were the biggest yielders, at least from what I can tell now, with The Doctor and Critical 33 coming in a close third and fourth. If I do this again, I'll definitely be returning to these strains, esp the Blue Lemon Thai. She's just gorgeous.

I left 1 Rocklock and the only Chocolope. I'm going to give them another week or two. They don't get as much full sun as the others and are not quite there yet, with no signs of rot or mold.

NYC Diesel:
I harvested these a week or two too late. They had the most damage, though there was a little bit of bud rot throughout the crop.

Blue Lemon Thai (probably the best out of all of them):

This is the test plot, I harvested these three today as well. Rocklock, Lemon Skunk, The Church. As much as Greenhouse touts The Church as a completely mold-free strain, it was practically the only plant that did mold. It wasn't too bad and the buds are the densest out of all the plants.
