For a while now I've been wanting to stagger my harvest to see how my plants smoke when pulled a tad early, right on time, & a tad late. Taking small samples early & late, & harvesting the majority of the plant right on time. I've started to collect small glass jars that I would normally recycle, but I've noticed that the smell of what was in the jar lingers in the lids. Olives, pickles... I'm wondering if anyone knows a trick I can use to get the smell out of the lids. Or, should I not even worry about it cause my smoke wont pick up the smells? Or, should I just scrap the jars & go buy some jelly sized canning jars?
