Hindu Kush

This strain was brought back by my brother-in-law, when he came back from Afghanistan. He literally walked out into a field of MJ & picked the seeds from a couple of plants.

P.S. And they wonder where the shape of the Menorah comes from!

Paraguay '89 land race, grew it a few years ago, its something lovely and unique this pure sativa...got the seeds from friend Atreyu who keeps the line alive, because in Paraguay its almost lost due to commercial hybridization.

I totally 100% agree with you GKN on the topic of keeping landraces alive. Your friend Atreyu must be a real handy guy when it comes to growing, the paraguayan shown looks very beautiful and is an easy trim I bet. let's make it a point to be able to keep seeds after growing a crop. Landraces are hard too find and like the saying goes you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone... haha wish I still had that landrace Asian sativa, I had kept a few seeds but they didn't sprout...
trying to find the seed vendor failed too...
you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone~!
save your seeds, make clones and trad'em!!!
it's the best way to keep genetics available. I miss my Asian landrace. only a fool would let her get away.

TheSG, my friend Atreyu is both an awesome grower and outstanding breeder, the best flowers i've ever tried were his. But the paraguayan on the pic was grown by me a few years ago, i think it was 2007. unfortunately i couldn't get a male to make a new generation of seeds with her. you are totally right about keeping the pure lines alive, is ok to make hybrids but it's more important to keep the unique genepools alive, and Atreyu has done preservation work with many pure lines.

saludos
