Strain is fast buds auto. I dont know the strain name.
The flowering time since the 1st of the hairs showed is 11 weeks.
Well some of the flowers got self seeded And the seeds are in the process of ripening.
Should I let the seeds finish ripening or should I harvest in the next week or so?
The seeds look to be half way through ripening. The thing is I don't want over ripened flowers and i do want the seeds to ripen. The trich look to be mostly cloudy and clear. I really need to get a jeweler's loupe.
What would you do in this situation?

I would find your least seeded buds and pull them now.

I have found that the occasional seed makes no difference to the quality of smoke. But lots of seeds in a bud, lead to a straw like taste. The pods in particular, taste really quite bad.

A seeding plant puts all it's efforts in to seeding. The buds take second place.

Just my findings from a limited number of seed runs. It seemed consistent to me though.

Those buds, seeded or not, look very tasty, nice grow.

Better later than sooner, if you want a lot of viable seeds.

Also, on a lighter note, why not pry open that vault you call a wallet,
and spend ten bucks on a loupe, lol.

Good thread.

So i am harvesting today. So do you harvest the whole plant in hang to dry or do you harvest the flowers in hang to dry.

I have heard that if you harvest whole plant it takes longer to dry vs harvesting each flower takes a shorter time to dry.

If you're comfortable with the amount of seeds that appear viable and you don't want your flowers to ripen further, harvest the whole plant. You're correct that leaving as much plant matter on it as possible will slow down drying.

I generally hang plants whole when I'm able to, but this is not always possible, like if you're growing through a scrog. I also try to harvest just before lights on...

Beautiful flowers! Congrats on your harvest
