I hadnt been using anything in my aero cloner but the clonex gas always been explosive for me.

Found a crack in the emilys garden. Testing out if the silicon will do for now.

Ive been thinking and I might need to go up in ec because my lights are kinda close together and Im sure theres crossover light from secondary light sources.

Got a new prefilter for the ro machine, ec meter, clonex and some other odds and ends.
look at the Flex tape from the same place that has FlexSeal..like tire patches..peel and stick..come in 4, 8, and 12inch wide sizes...look at the link, forward the video to 45 seconds..DJXX

I don't care what you think Shishka, those buds are looking nice. You ever think about building a frame for your trellis? I've done it like you do, but prefer to have a PVC frame that's adjustable.

On the Emily's garden, I'm with DJ. Get some of those flex seal patches. Then do a video for insta, where you slap the patch right over the water blasting out, and it instantly fixes it like brand new, lol.

I never really thought the wick was needed in the Emilys Garden.

Im so glad I waited to redesign the tent and focus on the other factors. I dont need to condense. I actually dont have enough space for all 3 x 600's.

I know exactly what I wanna do now. I need a 4x4 tent for each 600. 2x 5 gallons dwc in each will for sure fill a 4x4.

The plan is 9 weeks veg in EG, then 2 get transplanted into 5 gallons and thrown in the 4x4 screen.

Should be using way less plant count in veg, so with proper training I think I can pull this off.

Went back to check the hydro res and it was at like 90 ppm and 7.2 ph. Topped it off with 1 gallon of water which dropped ppms to 70 and I phed it down to 5.9.

and yo as I'm reading thru this I've already got questions bro.. sorry if i flood you with questions.

I've heard of tasting the sap from petioles to taste for minerals n shit during flush... what should it taste like when being fed and when well flushed?

shishkaboy

>>>>Beanie Man<<<<
Thats a good question. I gad heard about tasting them before also but never really noticed a difference until this last time I just mentioned. Normally it would be bitter. This time was noticably different and was more like a piece of lettuce.

I went through and weaved the branches into the perfect canopy, then I went through and stripped off everything below. Should be about one more week worth of stretch and I think few nodes I left on the tops of each branch should stretch up to barely reach the second net.

Looking nice shishka - some nice frosty ladies you got rocking there!

Keep killing it. - I finally pulled the trigger and ordered some gluebreath from chuckypigs - got last pack of 15 from GLG.

Finally be able to have some glue in the stable, best I could do since can't get any GG4 clones yet.

How are you liking running to hydroton? Looks like
Rooting pretty quick.

Trying out a new way to make edibles. Used about 2-3 ounces of most fans and got a nice golden nugget.

Put 2.3 g of qwet in 4 sticks and decarbed it on the stove. Way less smell this way but it takes 2 days to evaporate the everclear.

I also saved a liter of everclear made with predecarbed material for debriefing and cocktails.

I'm gunna need to know more about all of this. My girl wants to get into the cooking. I wanna make tinctures. Lots of qwet here.

The hydro seems like its growing so fast, I just gotta figure out the proper plant count and veg time to fill a 4x4 screen.

Im calling today day 1 of veg. I think I can do a 3 weeks veg and drop all 6 in bloom. I would rather a nice even 4 plants with 8 tops each for the 4x4 but I may need the whole six.

Pretty sure the top shelf colas are too close to the light.

The shorter one is the best looking one.

Trellising update.

The gg4, chem 4 group got a plain water 5.9 drench today. The first runoff came out at like 600 ppm so I feel like the container ec is pretty good. So far everything is pretty good in that section.

The sour and soul food section got tucked down a little since they were too close also. The sd is smelling like sour candy atm. Way more frost and smell if you ask me.

Dropped a 600 from flowering, gonna make a 4x4 veg tent to feed the 2 x 600s left in bloom. Zip tied them to the highest point in the tent too.

So now I have 1200 over a 4x8.
A veg closet with a 150 and 2 big cfls l.
Gotta build the new 4x4 or just buy one, whichever comes first.

Stripped out the cfls and the 150 from the 2x4 veg closet and threw the 600 in there.

Remembered I had a 600 mh bulb with some life still in it.

Gonna stick with the coco, 8 x 2gals vegged for 4 weeks under the 600, then into one side of the bloom tent. Refill veg for a month and fill the other side. By then the first side will be done. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I just gotta pick an 8 week cultivar to get the most out of the system. So its between the gg4x n91 keeper or the sd xn91 keeper.

Got all the moms under the cfl now

Had to take the glue slightly early at 56. All thats left is a few feet of ducting to add the veg light to the ventilation and a few co2 bags and I should be done.

I think I figured it out. I think its overwatering symptoms caused by not enough root mass in bloom, caused by the thrips in the medium.

I m pretty sure I was using the spinosad incorrectly. I did a small test and it seems like it kills on contact in the medium drench. I'm thinking the root drench plus the rosemary spray on the foliage should be the safest, cleanest way to eradication.

Glad you are making strides toward pest eradication.

The veg closet looks great btw.. missed that post before.

Nice @shishkaboy always wondered if it worked for a soil drench...
Cheers Rocky

I'm about to get another bottle and see whats up for real, but so far the pots that were drenched with it have no visible movement. Seems like a good once a month type of drench for me. I'm not sure how the plant uptakes it or if it does at all but from where I stand the soil drench seems like a pretty good way to use it.

Ill deffo let yall know.

Ha! we're in the same boat with 4x8, 1200w with thrips.:tiphat:

I think Azadractin might be another good drench to rotate with the Spinosad.

I'm using Diatomaceous earth also on the medium in between waterings, first time I've had these lil fuckers since moving to mass.

they don't seem to be affecting my flowers too bad besides some spotting on the fans, i'm at 7-1/2 weeks so I'll keep with the sticky traps and DE in there and just drenching the veg every 4 days.

so far I like them better than spider mites or PM. good luck!

Oh, yeah it deffo not as bad. I just know im sacrificing like 25%-30% to the yield gods tho.

The plan is to treat veg heavily and get this next group ready to support the flowering growth.

Ive never had pm but the borg I have experience with and they are pretty bad.

Please feel free to let me know whats working or not working for you over there.
