update!

well, I haven't added anything in a while, partly because this setup is so easy, I hardly have to do much with it. I refill the blumat reservoir, a 20 liter tank, every three or 4 days, but I bet it would last a week. the plants are doing great, just coming due for another top dressing of guano, greensand, and ewc. I could have vegged these more to really fill up the screen, but I'll save that for next time.

yeah no doubt, some kind of continuous trough would really complement that setup ; maybe even make watering a simpler operation

living mulch and no-till ???

looks pretty good so far just like it is

well, not no-till. but it is living soil and i recycle it.
no till troughs would be pretty incredible!
i keep adding blumats to the line, which I have t-d off the reservoir so the water is fed in both directions to minimize lack of pressure and safe guard against blockages. It is really easy to add additional blumats to the line, i just cut the line with scissors or pruners at the point I want to add another dripper, and quickly hook up the t for the dripper line. I try to aim the bleeding lines into the pot, but you don't really lose that much water, certainly less than a gallon.

I think the 5 gallon square root pots would fit perfectly into milkcrates. gotta go find some...

Like the milk crates, get some weed barrier, stuf it in the crates, fill w/dirt,pack em in,looks like you can squeeze in 20 easy, love the light mover

self- how did you mount the exhaust above the bulb?

i cut slits in the bottom of the ducting and stapled through the top into the ceiling. i expanded the slits with the hope that the ducting would pull air in along its whole length. temps are too low if anything 70-75 day and night, I may bump the thermostat controlling the fan up to 78-80.

yep, its pretty simple! I'm going to shoot for 10-12 next run.
I have infant seedlings of super lemon haze and super silver sour diesel haze s1's which will be ready to go when this current batch comes down. I can't wait!:whee:

coca Looking great in there very nice setup!

thanks coca! next run I'll be using stretchier plants and will hopefully fill up those screens...as it is Im very curious about how my yield will be...still pretty good for a 600 i think. I hope to get at least one #.1 1/5 would be about 1 gpw. four or five more weeks to go...

 self, you have a lot going on man! This set up is very clean, cool!

Thanks NFD, the real fun begins next round!
I'm 7 for 10 germination on the slh & sssdh, I'm shooting for 8 plants, so I'll probably just pop a few more sssdh since i have 5 more.
pictures later.

thanks nameless
I too look forward to really filling things up in there...
still, all those are pretty good yielders, we'll see how the moving 600w does...I just upgraded the bulb to hortilux super hps, from some mid range (elko) brand.
unfortunately if I wanted to add another light I think i would have to run different wiring and get a new circuit breaker...maybe a 400w mh to stack...:chin:
in other news,
we're 4/5 sssdh s1 and 4/5 slh.
I'll veg till the new year, then see if I can fill the room proper in 2012. I may add a couple of nevilles haze too if I think I need a little more variety.
loving it.

repotted the babies today...got 10/10 germination, then the cat knocked all my shite every which way while I was repotting, luckily the only casualty was a cracked stem on one seedling, which I quickly supported with pipe cleaner and sprayed down with a very light seaweed, plant & eggshell extract. hoping everyone makes it through and is happy in bigger pots with a nice thick ewc topdress.

How far away is the light from the seedlings in that first picture? They are crying out for the light to be closer.

i just moved them out of the humidity dome where they were under 1 24" t5.
they are now under 4 x 4' 54w t5. They'll stop stretching, don't worry.

update, 6 weeks in.

update, 6 weeks in.

by my calculations, these were put into flower on the 14th of october, so that puts us right about at the beginning of the sixth week of flowering.

environment is right on
these are the kandy kush, they're probably the farthest along.
smelling like musky lemon candy and full on budding.

The dieselrella is probably in second as far as production goes so far, but its more a 70 day flowerer, and puts on a lot after the kandykush comes down around 60 days. Its dominating the screen, sometimes layering buds two or even three deep. last run it was pretty resistant to mold, hardly getting touched while a sweetest cindy right next to it and with similar sized/dense buds started to go bad fast when my fan stopped. Probably not an ideal v-scrogger(just too vigorous), should be epic outdoors. smells like spicy grapefruit.

The oger 99 wins the award for best job stretching to fill in the screen, the buds are still small, but I'm really happy with the number of bud sites, in a week or two this should start looking really nice.

picture.php

last but not least, the exodus cheese grew a little lopsided, and is a little small right now, but like the oger, I expect big things in the next two weeks, smells like creamy musky incense/opium/exotic fruit.

hope you enjoy!

ps-all ten sssdh & slh seedlings are alive and well!:jump:
