Scout potential grow spots from ur computer chair!

Heres a link that might give some people a little headstart on scouting potential growspots http://www.terraserver.com/ You can locate areas by zipcode, lat/long, city, county, etc. You can even zoom in on you're own house.

Heres a good one for topo maps, for finding possible places too start a scouting mission, shows swamps/elevation, creeks/water sources, and alot of other good info on the terrain.

I have used similar sites and those, but they won't show small but significant water sources. This must be done in person. Also most pixs aren't new and are taken at different times of the year, just something to factor in!

I agree the best way too scout an area is in person at the proper time of year, etc. This was just intended as another tool in our arsenal, and possibly a way too cut down on wasted gas/petrol, and time maybe? Not too mention its pretty cool, too me at least, especially the terraserver where you can zoom in on you're own neighborhood...I could even tell i was at home when the satellite photo was taken because i could see my car in the driveway
