Update:

21 more days, till the 70 day chop. Letting SD, JTR and FFA all go 65-70 days. FFA is going 70-72 for sure.

Gonna continue supplement watering w/ molasses to induce trichome production... got 2 more waterings to do this, before the flush..

I need some advice with the flush... Should I do a 2 week flush, 1 with molasses 1 with distilled water?

wattup P-noid,i do a two week flush,i use water and molasses the whole way,the last watering before chop i use h20 alone let them dry out completely... so the pot is light and chop before the lights turn on for the day.when lights are off all the stuff you dont want in ur weed goes down to the roots.as soon as the light turns on it starts makin its way up into the plant for the day,imo taste is better when i chop before the light turn on...
theres always other ways to do things,im just sayin what i do.

Thank you for the VERY helpful info about when to chop...we're gonna start flushing on the 16th, pulling'em down on the 2nd of May.

I smoked a little bit of wispy buds from the bottom of the FFA... and damn...

She went in and out super smooth... fluffy, sweet smoke.
I got an immediate head change from a fat rip... so far, it's killer smoke for what is (was pulled off a week ago, smoked lastnight)'premature Dank'

The true test will come after 1 week in a box, 1 week jarred cure.
I plan to cure for at least 3 months before I start smoking her regularly.

Also, I have other strains for backup, in case she gets "addicting"

I also want to know a good way to cure, your way, to be honest.
Let me know if you know a good slow curing method, so I can end up with thick, meaty-buds as the end product.

as far as the cure goes,you want to dry the ffa slower then most buds cause of them fat calyxes...dry too fast and they will become brittle and want to turn to shake on ya....heres my regular drying/curing process.
what i do is let them dry on the stix for like 2-3 days,remove from the stix and let dry for another day or 2...this time may be more or less where you dry it at.you want the stix to start to be able to snap a lil bit.not break,but get a little stiff.then into jars,you will have to "burp" the jars everyday for the 1st say....2 weeks...by burpin i mean open them and let the air escape/exchange for like a 1/2 hr. at a time 1-2 times a day....cloryfil(<however thats spelled) evaporates as the buds dry,when you burp the jar your letting it get outta there and fresh air in...you will have some bad ass buds that taste great in like 2-3 weeks...after that it just gets better and better....no need to burp after 2 weeks as long as they arent rushed into the jars youll be fine...hope that helps you bro,if i left anything out just ask.peace-T-

Look at the trichomes in those crevices!...
Mostly cloudy with 'heavy-clear trich' influence... waiting on more amber influence. We'll see how it looks at day 70!

This Tuesday she is coming down. 5 days earlier, after slightly Herming, during a very bad heatwave. I was gone on 4:20, came home to find out.

No seeds, just a little dick here and there. 65 days seems alright.

Those buds look really nice for a first grow!! Give yourself a pat on the back man!!

I think a lot was to do with trimming the bottom third of the popcorn bud sites, which has forced the energy to the tops - always a good idea unless you're using 1KW's close to the plants!

Now you just need to dry them slowly and give them a cure, before enjoying the fruits of your labour!

Mine smelled like OG during grow, but changed to a very light, floral smell.
The smoked was killer, man. This stuff is up there with the BIG DOGS, if grown right, imo.

I believe my Calyxes didn't look good because of heat, wind and other issues.
You have the perfect environment for your grows, so you get the shapes that go with near perfect conditions.

I don't think potency was an issue with my finished product, more so in the yield, because of natural problems.

I didn't notice a spicy smell or taste, it was a faded sour/earthy grape with floral overtones.

The sweet floral scent of the bud was so enticing, Tonatiuh... every time I smoked it out back, I was soon after, surrounded by birds!

These little shits LOVE smelling this stuff. My own family, who don't really care for MJ, think it's the best thing they have smelled since POTpourri, lol.


The high is devastating... it rushes up through the face and back of the head.... trichs had nice amber, so after about an hour... couchlock sets in or a little relaxing feeling sets in.


This is one of the most complex herbs I have smoked, and while it was not for me to save her... I think about her every day, at least once.
I'm going to miss it, immensely..

yep that sure sounds like the same bro....i know you loved it man it is some real quality herb.im gonna hold her for as long as possible...what happened you didnt take cuts?ot they didnt make it?...
nice lookin root porn yo,and yep the wind was problably a major player in the reason why the buds looked different.the first run i did with her in my tent i had the same problem and it was the fan too close...was blowing the calyxes apart before they could form.
