Santa Cruz to Extend Dispensary Moratorium

Today, the Santa Cruz City Council will take up an extension to the 45 day marijuana dispensary moratorium. The extension for another 10 months and 15 days seems to be a shoe in and public comment is being restricted on this subject.

If you're in Santa Cruz, you should show up for this and make public your feelings on this issue.

People in Santa Cruz read the Sentinel and i now that because i lived there for 20 years.

The place is full of hippies so i am sure they, as well as the general population, will put up a big stink. There might even be a store right on Pacific Garden Mall, hehe. That place was very cool before the Loma Prieta took out most of the "old" feeling of the town. Now, Santa Cruz looks too industrial and sterile where before you would see lots of street performers and musicians. I have read that they are even ticketing people for sitting anywhere for too long and i guess this is why there are no more benches to be seen anywhere.
