Really? only an hour can have that much of a detrimental effect?

it really can. I've had a whole crop of sssdh gone due to a temp boost for almost two hours. I recommend everyone uses silica in veg, it really helps the plants stay strong through a hot or dry situation, in my experience...

ya a few hours of extreme temps can completely kill a crop. A respected grower on here had one of his 2 mini splits go out. I believe he had temps in the high 90's for a day. That whole crop of Sour Diesel turned out super fluffy/airy, all because of that one day. I do use silica, and i believe that helped a lot of them. Its amazing the victorville is still kicking ass, there is zero signs of it being affected

Yeah I've seen that happen...unfortunately. In one grow temps spiked to 100F during later flower, and not for long, during an equipment failure and it was not nice.

Just wanted to jump in here and thank the folks here at SDF. The genetics floating around here are AMAZING...the results are jaw-dropping. Much respect!

Whats up Nr8tor! Glad you decided to jump in.

Those Ace genetics are bitchin, I cannot wait to see how the Purple Haze x Thai comes out, thats going to be the best ish since sliced bread. My Tom Hill haze ran 16.5 before it started to amber, so you might be in for another 10 weeks before its fully ready..

Nata - as expected, they've turned out beautiful. :tiphat:
Yep,

I've been posting on this site for a good while. Bout time I jumped into a thread that's closer to home...

Your right, I could easily see the PHaze x Thai going 10 more weeks. One is definitely a lot further along and looks as if it will finish sooner than the other. My biggest challenge is not having my indoor space sorted out yet. So now I'm throwing these in a cupboard at night and bringing them out in the morning to keep em from re-vegging. We'll see how long they like that. The Mod is so far along, I don't think it matters much. All cloudy with just a hint of amber. Another week or so and call it good. Fingers crossed I get the indoor space taken care of this week, but I've been saying that for a few weeks now.

Welcomr Nr8tor! Waitin to work w the thai again myself. I grew up on nothing but thai n skunk. Nice pics. Im sure youll be a welcomed asset to our 3rd, fuck yeah I said 3rd thread of SDFC! Hahaha

Thanks OHGEE. I'm flush in Haze x Thai genetics as dubi was kind enough to give me some of his personal stash. Still have F1 seeds of green and purple haze x Thai as well as a bunch of F3 P. Haze x Thai from dubi's stash of multiple mom's and some of the F3 G. Haze x Thai (short/early, tall/late). Once I get into a new space, I'll be ripping into those genetics for sure.
