Use insurance bets buddy, they pretty much eliminate the martingale progression if done right.
So if you want to go for 1st dozen, put 1chip on 1st dozen and 1 chip on 19-36 for a pushback, you'd be surprised how many times it saves the day.

I don't play bj but i'm thinking the best way to play it would be to sit around a table waiting for the dealer to not bust for X amount of spins then start betting, stick low and wait for the bust.

Look at the spins after zero lands, if you bet 3chips on highs and 2chips on 1st dozen you would have won all the bets after zero apart from the ones I've underlined, but you'd have won it on the 2nd spin after zero.
It's like this all the time, not just a few hundred spins like below, it works with double zero tables as well.

I'm Just testing 1chip on highs (19-36) and 1chip on 1st dozen ... Martingale Progressions are minimum, this gives you a better chance to up your stake and hunt the win when it lands eventually.
Trying to figure out how much my next bet would be on losses.
Any help will do, before i test it 1million times on a sim i made so all real random spins.

I would be amazed to see a consistent winner with 'aaaanything' resembling an enjoyable lifestyle.
