Root growth during flowering

Root cells constantly die off and are replaced by plants, thats how i understood it.

Root hairs form in the zone of maturation, they are elongated epidermal cells, are constantly dying and being replaced as new areas of the root become part of the zone of maturation. But the root cap where cell division happens has continual growth.

This diagram might help explain what I am trying to say:

yeah, thats what I meant. Just a lil' medicated :D. He uses roots accelerator during veg and then stops using it during flowering on suggestion from the local hydro store owner. Is this good practice? should he continue to use the roots accelerator during flowering?

My local store told me to do the same thing, ive only tried during veg but im pretty sure there designed for veg. Im sure they could be used on bloom but i dont know if it would be different
