Robbie Bachman of BTO reportedly died yesterday.
Lots of nostalgia, having recently been released from minimum security in about 1973(?) and finding myself near Erie, Pa. at a BTO concert, stoned to the bone, only to hear a distinct and recognizable voice behind me, & encountering the fellow who'd been our model resident, older youngsters' adolescent group leader in the Behavior Mod facility. He was on the run from a hallucinogen treatment program (I had no idea such specific programs existed, then or now), and he'd reportedly gotten into a fist-fight with an Erie cop on his way in, when he was identified.
Memories.
No one's getting any younger.. physically, anyway.
