Yes, my grandfather died of prostate cancer before I was even born and I regret to this day that I never even got to meet him, but that doesn't mean that I'll support anything that promises me it'll cure cancer without giving any (non-anecdotal, scientific) evidence for that claim. Still, if I or anyone close to me got cancer, I'd probably try Rick's method, simply because there's no harm to be done with it. But, I'd also DEFINITELY continue chemotherapy.

As I said, I'm not saying it can't work, but I'm extremely skeptical towards people who claim their medicine cures absolutely anything from AIDS (come on man, cure AIDS? With a drug that simply has never been found to have antiviral properties?) to hepatitis and cancer. That really REEKS of quackery. But, as I said, the scientific community should finally get off their asses and study high-dosed cannabis extract therapy for treating cancer (and all the other stuff Rick claims it cures), else we're never going to find out.

I agree it does seem weird that one extract can cure so many diseases but remember we are learning diseases are mainly inflammation acting at certain parts of the bodies and cannabis is a powerful anti-inflammatory. Plus when you take into account the variety of strains that people in north America and Europe are dealing with are usually more potent then Mexican or strains from a lot of other places that are wild strains so they are hit or miss.

Adding to the fact that an extract is created which has more than one chemical in it, you can see how it can cure diseases at least keep it at bay because the only way to cure a disease is to eat whole foods in a proper ratio of carbs, protein and fats, minerals along with the herbs and doing exercises(resistance training&aerobics). This will keep your body from getting disease in the first place because the immune system is operating at a high efficiency.

Remember a company can only make claim to one chemical and sell it. If there is more than one the fda won't back it and they can't claim ownership that chemical. This is why something like viagra can be owned by a company but horny goat weed can't. Since the oils have more than one chemical in them they can't be claimed by any company. This is probably why THC and the other cannabinoids are always talked about even though we know the other oil that give smells and taste affect the way the cannabinoids heal and get you high.

Dude, sorry to burst your bubble but that's most definitely NOT how it works. Exercise and a healthy lifestyle can protect you from many things and may reduce your risk for cancer, but they sure as hell won't prevent it or even cure it or any other chronic or otherwise serious disease. Also, what's that supposed to have to do with hash oil curing cancer or any other so far incurable disease??

just a bump to an old thread, i'm a survivor of many illnesses this oil has worked on, cancer, 4 herniated disc's, OCD, swollen prostate, numular eczema and the list goes on, thanks Rick you helped make my life liveable.

I just got news that my mothers stage 4 lung cancer has flared up and spread. She has small cell lung cancer, stage 4, that started in her lungs and had spread to her liver.

She did chemo and radiation and it was shown that the tumors had stopped growing so they told her she gets a break till March. She has been in some pain the past week and back and forth to the hospital and a CT scan has showed that it has flared up in her lung badly, it has spread to her bones and lymph nodes.

I have been trying to get her to try the RSO since the beginning. She has been against getting high as she has never been a recreational user and is afraid of being high. I did manage to get here to start eating edibles to help with pain and sleep.

Now with the most recent news, I think she will be more willing to try the oil but I fear it may be too late. I want to get some oil for her but I am very fearful of a dirty product. I have made oil before using BHO and ISO but I see now that it may not have been the best, cleanest way. I dont want to give her something that still has contaminants in it.

Some local dispensaries are selling "phoenix tears oil" but Im not sure how much I trust most of these places as they are driven by profit. I would buy it from someone if I was confident they were giving me a good, clean product. I can get 99% ISO and can follow instructions, I just worry that I wont purge the product enough.

At this point, there is nothing left to try. This is going to kill her and even if it isnt a miracle cure, if it can make the short time she has left more comfortable, I want to try it for her.

I read all these things about vacuum purging etc but in the videos, I have seen, they just use iso to extract, boil it off in a rice cooker and then purge the final product on a mug warmer. Will this make a clean product or would I be doing more harm than good?

Im sorry for the rambling but its just a hard time right now trying to process everything that is going on.

There are a lot of people out there using Rick Simpsons name to sell Hemp oil,Just remember Rick does not sell to the public at all. Instead he teaches you how to make your own so do not get fooled I had some lainbrain try to sell me some for 1500 bucks claiming it was Ricks oil it is not.
