RF Sheilding for cheap rigs with E ballasts.

Is the cable company going to knock on my door if I buy the cheap stuff? What can I do to shield the cheap lights from Ham radio guys hunting me down? Will painting a whole room interior with anti RF paint work?

I don't know the answer to your Q's, but.. I know you can get wallpaper with thin metal wire in it that will block electromagnetic waves. It creates a Faraday cage in your room. Now I'm not suggesting you do your room in it, but you could easily do a box around whatever ballast is causing you concern.

If you're that worried about it but one of those old school cheap as hell magnetic ballasts.
