Should anyone find a post, thread, or even themselves missing from view on this site,
or otherwise banned, here's a few reasons to remind why:
1. Illegal Postings: Postings that are illegal in themselves, such as Child Pornography, drug dealing or other illegal activities, images or information are not allowed. You accept full responsibility for what you post as we cannot be held liable for the activities of others on our sites. Remember, Big Brother is watching everything on the Internet!
2. Duplicate/Repetitive Postings: Duplicate postings with identical or similar text are not allowed. Click only ONCE on the submit button, and your posting will appear. A new page will load showing your posting. This is your confirmation that it has been posted! Do not resubmit a posting that has been verified! Duplicate postings will be removed.
3. Multiple Personalities: IC Magazine does not advocate the use of multiple/double member names for just one user. Although it is possible to register multiple personalities, you may not use more than one personality in a single thread. We understand that due to certain security measures you may wish to delete your current member name and create a new one. Use of multiple member names in the same thread will result in that and all associated member names to be banned.
4. Flaming/Trolling: Flames are posts intended to insult and provoke. Posters who speak incessantly and/or rabidly on some relatively uninteresting subject or with a patently ridiculous attitude will be banned. Repeated posts directed with hostility at a particular person or group of people or their beliefs will be cause for banning. Any individual who chronically trolls, who regularly posts arguments, flames or personal attacks for no other purpose than to annoy someone or disrupt a discussion will be banned. Trolls are recognizable by the fact that they have no real interest in learning about the topic at hand - they simply want to utter flame bait.
5. Obscene/Pornographic/Violent postings: Unless these contribute something useful to the discussions, they will be deleted.
6. Off Topic Postings: Often people post remarks that have nothing to do with the subject of the forum. These will be moved or deleted at the discretion of the moderator.
7. Threads or posts pertaining to the buying/selling/trading/swapping/testing/giving of seeds, clones, pollen, cannabis, hash, or any other substance or article is not permitted in open forum by members and will be deleted. Threads or posts soliciting any of the aforementioned shall be deleted and the posting member will be banned from the site.
8. Spamming: Those who come here and post numerous links to other commercial websites, forums, chatrooms or communities, without actually contributing any content to this website will be banned without notice. It's fine to post an occasional interesting link to another website, in the context of a thread's subject, but to only do that, or to do it repeatedly, is not allowed. If you have your own website, you cannot put the URL in your profile or display it in your signature, for to do so would be advertising and there are approval avenues to follow regarding advertising on IC Mag. Any unauthorized advertisements to any web sites will be deleted and if a member persists in posting un-authourized advertising (Spam)....then that member will be banned.
9. Banning: People who violate these forum guidelines repeatedly are subject to banning. Once someone has been banned from the site, we do not allow complaints about it. Once banned, we are done with that individual, and no amount of complaining from other members will help. We don't need to justify our bans. This only causes more work for the moderators. Which is usually the reason for the person being banned in the first place. So those who complain about a banishment, are subject to being banned themselves.
10. Status: As long as you respect our rules you will be a welcome member of this website. Those who have chosen to join our community and support what we stand for will be accorded the rights of full membership. Members who abuse their status may see it changed back to Guest as a warning that their behavior is unnacceptable. Further abuse will lead to banning.
11. Chatroom: In order to gain access to the IC Mag Chatroom, a member must be in good standing on the site with a minimum post count of 200. Duplicate/Repetitive Postings: posting to circumvent the minimum post count to chat policy will result in your post count being set to zero or can be a bannable offense depending on the severity.
12...The Posting of personnal messages(P.M.'s) and e-mails (or part's there-of) in open forums sent to you on this site or any other is strictly frowned upon/not considered good etiquette and could lead to a member being banished from this site....

The above policies have been agreed to when becoming a member of this site, whether or not they were 'actually read' or just skipped over to gain access here.
IC Mag was created to serve a positive resource to the growing commmunity and recently, due to welcoming many displaced members from other sites, there have been those to come into our site with ill intent towards this site, it's members, and the growing community as a whole.
There have been those to scream 'censorship' because their offending/flaming posts have been removed.....read up above, play time is over. Admin has tried to permit members to speak freely, but in doing so, there are many who have taken advantage of massaging our policies and this will, effective immediately, no longer be tolerated.
Long story short........HOUSE CLEANING!
If you have something positive to contribute to this site, by all means you are welcome to do so. If on the other hand, you wish to breach our policies then please take yourself elsewhere, otherwise you will be shown the door by Admin..........there are many other sites which welcome flamers/trolls. IC Mag isn't one of them.
