Quite big pot + lot of sun = my plant is too big

Hi guys, I planted this Paradise Seeds' Icecream in late March and now, after about four months and a LOT of sun, my plant is really big. I'm attaching a photo so you can see my situation: I've planted it in a 60 liters pot (~16 us gallons) on my balcony, topped some months ago, tied it down and after lots of every day's super cropping it developed in a really thick bush, a sort of green pillow where all the canopy is at the same level :) Unfortunately, my location isn't so large and my plant that now is 1.5m x 1.3m (5x4 foots) fill my balcony and since this strain will bloom only in mid/late august I have at least one month and half of veg time..
What do you recommend? Should I cut a lot of its branches from now or should I wait a bit more? Should I began to thin it from now or wait one month? Or simply should I crop it as I do for these months and then let buds rise?
If I should cut some branches is better only on new thin ones or should I top also old thicker ones? An heavy "amputation" is bad or not?
And finally do you think is a problem if some buds will grow touching the wall? Because otherwise I have to cut/tie at least what's on the edges...

Thank you all!

id thin it out a bit m8 and make it work for the tops! if needs be drop a 4 in gauge crop net on now it gives you control over the outer edge if you need to pull them off the wall a bit.

looks a great plant buddy , bests with the bloom

If you can I would just deprive it of light and force flower it, pull a tarp over it in the early pm hours....add 2-3hrs of dark to its schedule and youll be smokin that shit b4 holloween. :) just my $.02 not to say that my advice is even worth that much. lol. but good luck dr.

Yep... I'd get a grid net set up to support and contain her and force flower with the tarp like 305 suggested.

I'm pretty sure nobody is that stupid, BUT: Have you sexed it yet?

I would definitely go through and just clip completely the small thin branches that never fully developed. From there you can just continue training or add a net.

@305guy yes, this is a good idea but plant is quite big and I think it would be very difficult for me to completely cover it with some garbage bags (??) or something else to be really light proof. In addition, due to work, I can cover at most an hour/ couple of hours before sunset.. It's a bit complex but I can think about it.. I never forced photoperiod outdoor so what happens if my curtain is not perfectly dark? (if for example some light can penetrate from bag's folds on the floor)

@Stress_test yes, It's an healthy, smelly and full of pre-flower female :)

@opus53 good idea, I was thinking about using a sort of scrog trellis to help me in this last period in order to arrange buds neatly and for example keep them away from the wall.. It's quite hard to do it and I'm considering if there are any real advantages compared to continue with a good supercrop as I do in past months!

thank you all!!

With a few weeks left of veg time you can cut her back drastically and defoliate her by about a two thirds. This will slow her down a bit and give you more bud sites and increase the quality of all flowers not just tops. Compacting her outdoors with no way to control humidity will decrease air circulation and increase the chance of mold. Just my way of thinking.
