Question regarding Flushing

This whole "flushing" thing is a concept born from years of chemy gardening, plants growing in the mix your using are taking what they need when they need it, the bottled ferts your giving them are having an effect a week or so after you give it to them, rearange your brain to think weeks into the future, if you just give plain water for the last 2-3 weeks of flower the plants will deplete the nutrients you've mixed into the medium, which is what you want, the bone, blood, castings etc. are always in a slow state of decomposition feeding the plants as they require it, the plants will "feed" and "flush" themselves without your interference just fine, if you are in the last week of flower and your plants are not looking yellow and deficient they are not being "flushed" and you've given them too much bottled food.

You can "rinse" the soil all you want but you can't eat the mixed in nutrients for the plant yourself effectively "flushing" the soil like in chemy gardening.
