Question about cloning a plant and what do do with the remaining nodes after cutting

When I would decide to cut off 2-3 internodes... I would be cutting off a cutting that will have bud sites on it on top!!!

AFTER THE CUT... THERE WILL BE 2-3 Internodes left... just a branch with no bud site on top because I cut the top ...

My guestion...>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO SOMETHING WITH THE REMAINING BRANCH WITH NO BUD SITE... ??

WETHER TO JUST REMOVE IT...

OR...............>>> CAN IT BE TRIGGERED LIKE THE FIRST CUT THAT HAD BUD SITES... TO... TO MAKE IT ROOT AND GROW A PLANT FROM THOSE LAST 2-3 INTERNODES ( A FUCKING STEM WITH NO BUDS... WILL IT ROOT??? AND DEVELOPE LIKE A CLONE??? OR DO ONLY THE CLONES THAT HAVE THEIR WHOLE PRE-FLOWER CAN BE TRIGGERED TO GET ROOTS AND MAKE A CLONE OUT OF IT...)

LOL

This is my guestion xDxDxD

I am very anticipated of your answers... because I don't got a slightest clue on what to do with the remains ( Branch with no bud site on top like the very first clone ) after you have taken a first cutting ...

messy, messy shit !!!Sorry about the bold... i suck at posting good posts today lol xDxD

Just want this answered because it is very interesting ... IDK !!:p:p:p

:thank you::tiphat::tumbleweed:

1. It will root as a cutting from the node sites, should you wish to give it a try.
2. Or, it will branch from the nodes, and they will grow bud when its time.
3. Personally I wouldn't just cut them off unless its to root them. They will branch and bud.
Hope this answers some of your concerns, MJ and plants in general, will do what it takes for the plant to reproduce its self. So when you cut the end of a branch to root it, the rest of the nodes below the cut become more active as it were, and it will do what it needs in order to ensure that its genes survive. And the plant is one tough mother, so you can cut them pretty hard and all will go OK just a little slower while the plant recovers from the cutting. Hope this long ramble helps.
Namaste.

i think you are asking what to do with the extra nodes on bottom of stem ?? on your cutting ???
its good practice to actually cut your 45 degree angle on one of them nodes
you watch video;s on the tube and many clean it up but also leaving them nodes on cuttings will eventually once rooted you will get growth there

How Big is the bud? Why are you cloning a plant with buds on it anyway..!??

You CAN do it...you just should try to avoid it. Depending on the size of the bud you can even leave it..let it root, then veg it out. I've gone as far as 3 weeks into bloom..past that ONLY if it's an emergency...ie: you're gonna loose a strain!

So, if you have to you can clip the bud off as you suggested..as long as there is growth below it, it will grow...eventually. (it will take a while)

Always try to get em while their vegging, less wasted time waiting for them to revert and start veg growth again.

Nothing wrong with cloning flowering plants. Works just fine. Do it all the time in SOG grows.

Try making clones, you got nothing to lose.

Im sure glad I did with 1 of my plants.

Cut 2 long branches, cloned the tippity top of them and the 'left overs'. The left overs made it, the tops are long gone.
