Address these questions while smoking.
1. Please use a clean instrument for the evaluation. Enter information
below that will identify the instrument as follows:
Water pipe (enter bong, hooka, bubbler etc):
Vaporizer (enter the brand name):
Pipe (size-type, ie medium-glass):
Joint (enter brand of papers): rizla
Other (specify):
2. Use numbers 1-9 on descriptors that apply to the taste where a one indicates a subtle presence and a nine indicates a very pronounced presence. Delete the existing space when marking a descriptor in order to maintain the columns in alignment.

Incense [8]
If appropriate return to this question after 5-10 minutes and mark
with X any unmarked descriptors for lingering aftertaste.
the panama phenos have a lingering lemon sweet aftertaste, creamy with a nutty brownish tone. The columbian leave more a cola aftertaste.
3. Taste: 8
Rate your impression of the taste from 1-10 unpleasant-delicious.
Comment: the coca cola pheno is very tasty and unique. Panama also great, but a more common lemon-citric taste.
4. State of dryness: 7
Rate the dryness of the bud from 1-10 wet-dry where 5 is ideal.
5. smoke ability: 8
Rate the smoke ability of the sample from 1-10 harsh-smooth.
Comment: not flushed well. It would have gone up to 9 otherwise. The buds have an sweet, coca cola like smell that translates into an aftertaste of dark molasses or caramell cola. Really unique.
6. Smoke expansion: 2
Rate how the smoke expands in the lungs from 1-10 stable-explodes.
7. Intensity: 7
Rate how high the smoke got you. 1-10 nothing to maximum effects.
Comment: very high. Pure sativa buzz. The intensity is wave like, sometimes you feel her lightly, as well as after multiple hits the intensity is all high-altitude vertigo coming in waves, but not threatening.
Getting high with an all sativa girl is different. It took time to really pinpoint how this lady operated. She starts with a frontal wave, causing sometimes a flushed face , light sweating above my lip. And over 5-10 minutes, the high unfolds and establishes radio frequency on some ethereal energy band. Lift off! And no anxiety turbulence or other 'Uh-Oh' moments. and there lies the rub. With no traditional 'tells' like throat tingling, back-of-head stony buzz and physical body weight, it requires some re-orienting on how you 'get' the high. It is light like a champagne buzz that with her mildness and sweet creamy taste keeps you smoking and getting higher and higher. Keep smoking and your body will not feel heavy, but your mind will be surfing along with the wave behind getting bigger and bigger. the potency seems moderate, but each hit raises the intensity so that what seemed like a lightweight buzz can, after a few more hits, blossom into a stratospheric Spaceship cruiser ride. This is what makes it old school. The unhurried nature of both the flowering time (13-16 weeks) the curing (1 month) and the effect.
8. Type of High. Use combination of #'s if needed.
1. Head: 10
2. Mix:
3. Body:
comments: this is described as a F1 with a landrace columbian that delivers an "old school high".
Well what about the high? IMHO, This high begins at a level that most hybrids never reach. It's a clean and bright buzz that is functional as a small Joint and as you keep smoking (it's so tasty..The smoke is a little sweet, cola caramel creamy, and really tasty down to the end of the joint. Vanilla creamy smell to the smoke. Mmmm roll and light another one..) it dawns how incredibly stoned, yet clear, you are. Waves of head bliss come through, and it's incredibly relaxing in a completely non-indica way. No body. Really. Physical exertion is pleasurable, Sex is very pleasurable, Dancing also.
Zamalito in 2007 said regarding columbian red type of high:
"the punto rojo would be cerebral and energetic with less anxiety and a slight body effect but still ceilingless". http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=55542
And i would agree, with the exception of slight body effect, depending how dominant the columbian genes are.
I ended up with 4 females, 4 expressions:
( pix of columbian 'A' pheno and Panama 'B' pheno here:

Columbian 'Coca Cola' pheno: has the spike club pistils, equally good resin, all sweet dark creamy cola smell to buds, little bit more dense and gets a little sleepy if smoked late, but just extremely tasty sticky foxtail buds. A favorite, and best representation of Columbian side.
Panama pheno: has the pistil shape from this side, sweet lemon with a backgound of creamy cola. Biggest first flowering and good resin. Euphoric, up / active, and comfortable.
Pheno 3: Fizzy lemon, most citric, panama pistils. smokes well, good taste, strong. Also this is the one that i thought was more columbian, but maturity made the panama come out.
Pheno 4: most balanced expression in veg phase, not as resinous, but high is a little racy and trippy. Expresso! Found myself pacing around in deep thought, hard to sit still. Probably harvested early at 13 weeks also the strongest branches and hardiest in the garden, and biggest producer. The cola aroma is in this bud, but not as pronounced.
9. "social liability factor" use no 1-10: 2
comment: this high opens you up, you feel confident and sociable. No heart racing, no paranoia, very smooth. But too much will leave you grinning from ear to ear with red eyes and a spacy awareness. Life of the Party weed. The Panama leaning phenos are more energetic and the Colombian is stonier and more psychedelic, but all are friendly and social.
It mixes relativey well with alcohol, but in moderation. 2-3 glasses no problem. A nice Amarone Della Valpolicella is recommended
10.which direction did the high take you? ie is it (a) up time party sativa? or is it; (b) sleep time indica? or (c) it can go both ways?
up time old school party sativa. I cut her after 13 weeks, but they go up to 16 weeks. I will try that next time. It is up and positive, easygoing herb with a first class High. And after the ride is over, it's a smooth and clean landing.
Medical Effects: anti-depressant
<> Medicinal Strength: 9. Very good anti-depressant, and the lack of indica couchlock influence means you get stuff done, and enjoy doing it.
KEEPER? YES
Besides the fact that Columbian strains played a huge part in Cannabis history, the earliest compositions of Haze, and Panama red has it's own chapter in the same era, the Panama x Punto Rojo is noteworthy on the quality of sativa high and the vigour / resilience of growth. I was satisfied with the production in a microgrow, with 220 watt PLL. It's an old school landrace hybrid that can accomodate modern standards, with the exception of flowering time. but that's how it does what it does
I've been on vacation, and smoked Punta Rosa daily for over a month. From wake and bake to evening smoke. And it has brightened every single day, let me be active, social and in a bullet-proof good mood.
