why do you plug your ballast into the chhc1? i only have my dehuey and exhaust fan hooked up on it, and co2 in future. the ballasts run to a 240v timer box on seperate circuit.
Good question. I'm about to buy one and while reading through the pdf instructions I noticed it said to maintain 8 feet between the two cause some digi's are not properly shielded. Got me thinking twice, although if it says some digi's are not shielded, that should mean some are properly shielded, right?
The only issue that the electronic noise causes is with co2 readings. I have witnessed this problem first hand. Old (incompetent) partner suggested that the regulator might be bad.....idiot. It explains right in the manual.
Sentinel has corrected this problem with the newer version. You can tell if you have it, as it's got blue covers over each outlet.
Haven't hung my ballasts yet, but going to heed this advice and see if I can avoid this dumb little issue.
