Problems germinating MDanzigs BlueRyder

I also sowed 2 seeds that came free from ******, Feminized G13 Superskunk and lockstock. The superskunk HAS germinated, so I know it's not my setup.

I've heard about precracking but I'm kinda scared to mess up. I only have 1 more BR seed, think I should give it a try? I have plenty of schwag seed to practice on.
So just crack it open all the way or just crack the bottom where the tap root comes out?

Well I got 1 BR to germinate but died. The others all rotted out.
The superskunk that germed is now a happy little seedling. So much for my autoflower experience. So I am out of this forum for now. If I get bold and order some more seeds I'll try to do a little better research this time..
