plants are slowly taking over the room, making it harder to circumnavigate in there, LOL.

roots for the dominant magic haze in the tray just exploding out of the 5.5" container.
i see the algae too, trays are a tad gunked up.

p.s. 9ml bloom only in res, cut out micro last week.
also added floralicious+ to both trays and big swell to the cj/ssh tray only.
haze has taken enough abuse already, no big swell for her lol

man....hydro just trips me out every time I see that stuff....especially being a dirt guy. I used to run aero tubes...but even then you don't end up starring at a mass of roots like that...

Looking nice MP! When I used to run tables I would make a cover out of reflectix and cut holes to drop the pots in. The idea was to get light reflecting back up at the plants for the first couple weeks until they filled in.
Well what I found was an explosion of root growth. Seems that dark, moist environment was very friendly to root growth. Keeps the algae down too.

i used to be a dirt guy too, but i have to tinker and try everything sooner or later.
i haven't tried aero tho...yet. was looking at robert fortune and others DIY aero kits and might give it a whack.
i'm also sitting on a ebb and grow bucket system w/ a chiller i haven't gotten to yet.
in due time i'm sure.
i was thinking the ebb and grow system and going vert w/ the 600's once i get my fill of seed popping.
who the fuck knows where i'm headed to next except the wind.

Third Coast,
the reflectix is a good idea, but i gave away what was left to my roll to another farmer.
i usually just cut some X's in panda film and let the cuts poke thru.
just got lazy this time.
i just toss a couple drops of physan into the res when shit gets thick.
those scrubbing bubbles kills everything but the plants (in small doses)

before my mini split took a shit on me, the room stayed cool w/o ventilation.
