Damn bro, that's a lot of moving air for a drying chamber. Looks good for a small grow though, good for you!

will you run a dehumidifier in the room?also in one of the other posts i saw a guy who just had a square fan, layed it down flat ,put a screen over it put nugs on top and just sucked the air down through it think he had a dehumidifier in the room to.the water it collects is pure or near to pure water great for clones ,ect.just a thought good luck anyhow

At the moment, that's one thing I don't have. But my humidity is perfect right now..

And how weird.. the buds were temporarily on a window screen with a fan under them, just how u describe. Except it was in a shed with no dehumidifier.

I really should look into buying one. That's one piece of equipment I don't have. Thanks for the comments

the only problem with blowing damp air down is some of it stays there as it cools, meaning the carbon filter wont get to catch it very well as it will be taking the warmest air at the top of the area.with the dehumidifier i use it takes air from low down and shoots it out of the top straight up hits the roof and circulates the room better.depends which one you get(mid size is best $100 ish) but make sure the air out is on the top they say that they can take out up to 10 litres of water from the air a day mine has a 2 litre tank which will run for days before it needs emptying if ever .it also has a setting on the top that i can set say 45% and it will keep the space at that for as long as it is on plus gives of just a bit of heat which was perfect for a 120/120/200 as to not overheat them .good luck

Looks like a grow tent to me lol. Are you going straight from harvest to screen? Why don't you hang the whole plant up? It dries slower that way and a slow dry is what you want to get the best smell and taste.

Kt420, your totally right man it is just a grow tent haha. I spent hella hours making the box and setting shit up all ninja, and I just wanted to share my hard work. I had already hung up the whole plants to dry in a little veg tent, upside down like you said.

Once a lil crispy I put into Brown bags.. got moist hung again, then Brown bags again. Now I put em onto the screen in the tent, sealed up. Mostly just cause of the smell, since I'm doing this in an apartment.

I only take out a few branches, trim leafs and fat stems, and put into a turkey bag. From turkey bag imma put into quart size wide mouth mason jars for the cure.

If I could delete this thread I would.. cause this is far from a pumped out drying tent.. hahahaha.

Million times better to share on here than with people I know. Gotta stick to that tell no one rule , ya know.

Just hung mine for drying tonight, in my tent 1.2m tent and was wondering if i need to keep my intake/outake on for circulation (5'' ruck) and oscillating fans on as well or can i just zip the tent up with no fresh air intake and just the fans ???

i would have just knocked off the fan leaves, give her a rough trim hanging her pretty much whole or at least by the branch...then enough air movement for a 5 day dry. when Stems just about ready to snap and the sugar leaves are crispy I breakdown the plants. Drying time depends on Season, quick in the winter (woodstove lowering RH)...an extra day in the summer.

Then I just toss em buds in big turkey bags...Once they start to sweat a touch(mebbe a half hour in a warmer temp)....I move the bud around with gloves and that pretty much finishes my trimming...then sweat a bit more...back on screens to finish the final dry and then bag most, jar personal....and burp....If moisture isn't quite right, into a bin to crisp a touch...I pack it in loosely...

I wet trim anything that is going for butter or concentrates(break down and screen dry 5 days bone dry), and do the above for my "personal".....

The flavor is much stronger with my personal, high isn't any different tho..
