Not necessarily. If you flush a lot, it would not be required. PH issues, high or low, cause lockout. If you are flushing quite often, you dont need to adjust your PH, as you wouldnt get the lockout due to all the flushes.
the only ph adjusting i do, is with hardwater micro from GH. I dont do any other adjusting at all and i have 8+ water here.
And all my seeds are germed in straight tap water and fed only water for a week or two. Never had an issue.
