Is it necessary to allow your soil to go through a perk time after mixing your amendments. If so how long.

I was wondering the same thing myself. I 'm planning on using sta-green soil (no frets added) with bloodmeal, kelp, bonemeal, maybe rock phosphate. I know the rock phosphate is timed release and need to be added early but what about the rest???
