not going to discuss whether it is perennial or annual...
but I grew a colombian sativa for two years. I probably could have gotten more harvests out of it. after each harvest, I would leave the lowest two branches, I'd trim those two branches too... and eventually the plant would start re-vegging and shooting out new branches; and the stalk would get fatter and fatter with each re-veg.
this was done in the tropical andes, outdoors.
I prolly have a pic of the plant during its first re-vegging in the old gallery of my old username... the plant was in a pot too. let me see if I find that pic...

that was after its first re-veg outdoors, the bottom of the stalk got fat! in the pic she had been flowering for three months or so already... chopped it soon after. was ok bud if I remember right... about 7 years ago this happened.
