My plant is looking good but I think that the stretching is slowing down??
She's not much taller today.

I'm still quite happy with her height though and she will probably keep growing.
She's got lots of room to fill in.

I made more nutrient solution and these are the numbers...

These are the numbers of the "runoff" before watering the plant...

After looking at the charts, I've decided to water with a higher PH next time so that my runoff will be a higher PH, just incase my planter actually is "soil".

The lower PH going in and out may have something to do with a nutrient lockout if there is one, and if my planter counts as "soil".
(Meanwhile, my plant can soak up some Manganese before the change.)

I figure that if my "runoff" is 6.5 or higher, then I should be good.

Looking good. Nice frosting on the leaves - I think she will make you happy :)

re the nutes & pH, its a complicated one eh? I've also been pondering at what point do the charts flip from hydro to soil??! What do my pots with 50/50 perlite & compost count as? 🤣 Or the ones that were 80 perlite / 20 compost. Although they all died... 🤔 Maybe there's a lesson there.

Thanks alice :thank you:

I'm pretty sure I'm heading towards a big harvest.
Bigger plants are harder to kill, so I think I'm good. Lol

I think that both of those count as soil because compost has organic material. You just "watered it down" with perlite.
But who knows??

And what if you feed organic nutrients to a Hydroponics setup?
Does that turn it into "soil" ??
I dunno?? Lol

I realized that I forgot the epsom salts in my nute solution, so I drained it off, stirred in an 1/8th tsp of epsom salts and PH'ed it up to 6.5 as well.

So it looks like the epsom salts raised my PPM by about 80 ppm.

I will consider it just as a treatment of a deficiency and start watering without the epsom salts at a PH of about 6.0 and see what the runoff looks like.

6.0 might be a happy median without creating any lockouts?

I hope so, but there's still plenty of time to screw up and kill it. Lol

She's 6 weeks and 2 days old today.

My new contactor arrived, but I think that I'm going to wait until this plant is done before I install it.

My old one is behaving better now.
