OO, what the fuck is "traction"? and why do i need it?

You southern boys...

Traction is what you lose when traveling in a car over cold snowy roads here in the Great White North. Inevitably when you get stuck you dig out the snow around the tires and then use something to improve traction. Some use kitty litter.
