Partially flowering plant

Hi,

I don‘t know if the topic fits in here.

I just stumbled across a redditpost where a grower claims that he flowered a single branch of a plant, while he kept the rest of the plant in veg.

I wonder if anyone on here tried this before?

I would think that this stresses the plant. The poster says he has done this several times already and never had an problem with herming.

Quite the curiosity.

Here in Germany this could be the new trend, starting April 2024:
the Lauterbach way

Seems reasonable considering an outdoor plant I had; one branch flowered a month before the rest of the plant, I pollinated the branch, unfortunately the plant was stolen.
