Panama 12/12 from seed?

Hiya folks.

I am waiting for 1pack of panama and i have a few questions.

My growbox is 80cm x 60cm x 100cm ( grow box is 160cm, but minus the pot and distance from top to lamp i have about 100cm growspace upward)

Im growing with Grow northen ms0006 LED and will b doing 3 liters hempy buckets.

I am thinking of doing 4 girls in my box and going 12/12 from seed ( seeds are fem. ) and was wondering if this is a good strain to do 12/12 from seed with and what height can i expect with no veg time( and yield )?

Not sure on the great Panama, but i can say for sure, 12/12 on
Killingfields (******) from sprout, is the best way to grow it.

If you have to get a yield from sprout, 12/12 and the Panama won't work for you, maybe give it a look-sea?

Many people grow sativas at 12/12 from seed, with longer flowering plants they still have plenty time to stretch. It's a great way to control their size and keep them manageable indoors.

Anyway in the case of the Panama, CBG has made a great job with them, besides its tropical genes it's a very compact and moderate plant to run indoors (another thing will be a Haze or SE Asian 18-20 weeker!). Even with 1-2 vegetative weeks yoy should be able to contain it. Specially if you bend, crop or top the plant as well, use some bondage and whatever you may like to keep the height controlled.

I'll sprout a few beans soon too! ;)

Peace.

I'd stick to two plants in larger pots and top and train as Mustafunk suggested; I've decided letting them spread out with multiple tops and letting sativas gain some height is the best way to maximize my yield indoors!

Welcome Justinsane,

You can flower panama straight 12/12 with very nice results like other growers experienced before, although we usually recommend to veg plants from seed for at least a few weeks till reach their sexual maturity.

They will probably finish within the 1 meter limit, the LEDs will help to reduce stretching and to avoid the tops of the plants being burned.

Best wishes!

I grew mine under LED and they doubled in stretch. I vegged them 6 weeks and kept the lights real close to them so they were no more than a foot tall when I flipped to flower.

That sounds good, thanks mate.

How close where your led in veg and bloom?

My plan is 60cm first week then 45cm in veg and a little closer in bloom...

^^ I use oldschool 1 watt LEDs so I had them within 2 to 5 inches of the tops of the plants. At times during flower they may have been touching the LED a little. hehe

You will have to adjust as needed. If the tops are not bleaching you can go as low as you want.
