dingbat, yes I know, really QWISO is made with a very short wash and an effective filtration.
My product contains a little plant residues
- filter is one of his wife's nylon stockings
Some years ago - 30 years - I got a friend who taught me about ISO.
Where he had his knowledge from. I don´t know.
He made three kinds of ISO.
3 hours, 3 days and 3 weeks ISO.
The fluid was not filtered, but just gently poured into a steel plate.
The plate was placed on a "hot plate", and the ISO boiled away.
The finished product we mixed with tobacco.
Oh, I was mega high every time we smoke the dirt - my tolerance was lower at that time
What I've been up to lately is not QWISO.
But it's easy and it's damn effective
This black shit works sooo gooood
I have made a third run with the same buds.
The yield was significantly lower this time (washtime was a few days + the buds were wet from second run!).
But then again - this black shit is extremely potent.
Here are some pictures from the third run.
And a few hours I went.....

Well, a tea-filter is not optimal, but sure is better than wifes stockings
Still a little dark though...
I couldn´t help it.
I had to make some ol´man black wash - I simply just love that dark oil

I love those dry sieve pic, they were inspirational.
One word of warning though, I would not evap your ISO in the oven. Lazyman blew up his oven doing that.
If you are not too picky about some small bits in your QWISO you can use one of the metal mesh coffee filter replacements. This is the one I got and it works great.
