Thanks for quick answer midwestganja. Quite big pots huh.
What is on the other side absolute minimum that will still guarantee good growth. Let me be clear here. What size would guarantee that plant will yield at least 3g and not die in the process...
i would say a minimum of 5L (like 1.5 galons). Also keep in mind LR#2 roots like to go deep, so the deeper the better. No way u will yield less then 5g per plant, in good conditions of course.
Can you grow them in 1 gallons? Sure, but they will be rootbound and not very happy in most cases, it will also affect your yield. Do a side by side with a 1gal vs a 3gal, you'll see the difference. Nothing less than 2 gallon as far as im concerned.
I wonder if it's errors like wrong pot size being used that earned the LRs their "low yield" reputation?...it may well be a one off pheno, but Corks mate seemingly rocked out 100g from one plant... and thats not to be sniffed at, at all
well like I say mate, I'll be plenty chuffed if I get 10g per plant in a 5 liter - I'll chalk Corks buddys experiance up to being one of those rare times that someone got lucky with their pheno
thats a good point about not having time to correct mistakes too...
i am started 50 LR2 seeds on friday and will be putting 10 per 100ltr pot for 40 of them and then putting 10 of them in swamp area.... if i get a pound that will be sweet enough to keep me and my mate happy for a few months
