That must be Pacific lol they got everything and anything nothing I'd invest into
New batch of growers unaware

A buddy of mine actually got a hold of an original pack from ways back went male hunting with them, didn't care about the girls.
Then he bred them to an Azad kashmir can't wait to see what these hold

Well this thread was certainly a... read. LOL

Please pardon the following question, I'm an ignorant pleb in search of better ways to grow (and great genetics).

A breeder named Hazeman Seeds sells some strains that are made using white widow (aloha white widow). I take it that's not the elusive legendary strain in question?
Aloha WW was a clone of good old late 90s widow..Not sure of where it's from though..Don't think its from hawaii.

Think its origins was a dutch seedbank called aloha though I don't know any details, and they had grabbed a cut off Greenhouses' mother plant at some point to start their line..

It's funny when you learn the true origin of a plant compared to the mystic created around it, I'm sure I read on this forum some members saying the Aloha WW was straight from Hawai through an exotic escape or some bullshit in this style but in fact it's coming from a Dutch seedbank called Aloha. We love so much a good story we will always prefer the legend to the truth.( I can't remember the true quote of the western this comes from)

The story is that some Canadian visitor traded the seeds for local ones. I don't know if it's true or not. Exotic escape? Well, maybe Canada is an exotic place for Hawaiians..

I was thinking about the way it was smuggled out of Hawai not the destination, just a figure of speech but I'm sure Canada is exotic for any Hawai natives in winter with all this snow everywhere.

Aloha White Widow is Hawaiian x white widow back in 98 since the name 98 Aloha White Widow
People need to quit believing what you hear and actually look up the lineage.
Lots of new people on these boards that hear something believing it's true and repeating stuff that aint.

I'm sorry but the description given by the seed banks are too often blatant lies crafted to sell a maximum of seeds, it's not easy to find reliable info in the canna business.
Where did you find the lineage of those seeds?
About new people you've been on this forum for 6 months, you're the newcomer.

It's always been that way since it came out.
Otherwise check out seedfinder.eu

I might be a newcomer to this site but I've been around a long long time, longer than you probably are old

It is also not clone only a buddy mine went thru an original pack just recently

Why trust seed finder for the lineage, they just copy/past the description of the seeds sellers.
You have to be an old grandpa to grow for longer than I have been alive. I'm close to 50 years, been growing for almost 30, been a member here for 17 years. Try again if you look for a green one.

And you're still naive enough to believe seed finder write the true lineage, all those years didn't teach you a lot. At least @maryjaneismyfre comes with receipt corroborating what he says about the origin of the Aloha WW.
