I prefer the oil filled radiators with thermostat built in.I grew in the basement of an early 1700 cape.42 in my bedroom on cold mornings..lol.

delonghi oil heaters kick ass, very cheap & reliable, everyone I know uses them

as stated earlier,i run lights at night because thats when i really need the heat. so far i see no adverse affects. gets nice and warm in there when lights are on.
