Northern Lights tastes good.

If you smoke a bowl of it and get into your car and see a bright pink hanger for hanging clothes on and laugh at it, then it's some good stuff.

I have a feeling that we are still seeing NL genetics in some of the more popular seeds.

Which is AOK with me !

I remember in the original Seedbank Catalog (wish I'd kept mine ... all the pages fell out ... that's what happens to porn :woohoo: ), there was NL 5, NL 2, and NL #1 or NL #1 x Hashplant.

Neville wrote, "Even experienced smokers have trouble finishing a joint of ..." - the NL-HP cross.

I guess people are usually referring to NL#5 when they talk about Northern Lights ?

Greenhouse Seeds Super Lemon Haze - all Haze or a NL-Haze cross ?

When I read the seedbank catalogs, it seems like the NL-Haze crosses are doing pretty well.

Apparently NL first appeared in Seattle , WA but was made popular by sensi seeds in 1985. -leafly

Yes indeed some NW cat named the Indian worked and re worked the NL project. NL was actually a rudimentary seed bank lots of strains got labeled NL coming from them and I and around the area it became synonymous with just dank bud in general like most things....hey man you got that diesel that kush that fire bla bla.
BUT if I am to believe the Adam Dunn show, the BEL worked a mazar iblr into some rare mexi that went into sage (big sur?). I'm thinking when they got it up north someone hit it with some Rudy pollen for latitudinal perspective and boom. I'm a firm believer in the possibility that its in most of our strains coming from Ak Ca to Hi. But there is a semi recent episode on ADS where this old timer lays it all out as est as he could as far as lineage on case I'm butchering it horribly

I got some things backwards as far as the Rudy intro after some reading, but all in all its an interesting read. I wonder if the Thai intro to make #5 is responsible for the hermaphroditic tendency in our genetics these days....and that shoe polish- burning tire-Greek church kinda funks? IDK Hurts my head to think about this to much.
