Well I went by a friend's house who obviously grows and mentioned in the past that he would loan me some stuff to get going . Well I asked him for help, but seems he is a bit in need of help too. he loaned me a 400HPS digital bulb and it has an adjustable balast. I expected to see a room full of plants at his place but his clones are slimey and there was a couple of vegged plants that were just set there to die so I said let me take them along with a few clones off one good plant and he did. My clones have been in a airoponic setup I made with bubbler and mist heads. I put them on a timer and will see in a few days what they are doing. I am worried as the basement is cold as at 60F but my room I taped off the heat register to try to get a bit more heat. So my room bythe plants is 70 ish but am worried I need more heat in the cloner, I think the water is a round 66 to 68 and just out side the box is 70 72 they are perky so Im going to give them a couple of days before I touch them or more stuff a round to introduce a fish thermometer into the mix because I have heard both you need it more heat in the bottom ,but then I know of some who say they do great with there water in the cloner a round where im at. My friend called all woung up need to get something going he is very impatient and told him if you are in need of roots now go BUY A FEW ALL READY ROOTED and fire up your big lite and generate a bit of heat. Seems he is having issues with it being cold also. Im concerned about the two big plants the one seems like I got it going but have not put much growth yet but has reached for the lite a bit and the leaves are not all curled up, but the other is all culred up but not burned on the edges, remembering it has been neglected and left for dead, I thought two things either he over nuted it or it was not getting enough water so I kind of flushed them both with a root stimulant cannot remember the name but its the drop to a cup or 1/4 teaspoon to a gallon. He is a bottom feeder and I dont think they were getting enough so I transplanted them to five gallon pails and soaked them down . I dont think I can post pics yet or I would. Is there anything else I can do to get this plant to turn a round as I dont like the curled up leaves they are not dry and are dep dark green but the tops or the next new leaves are a yellow but not a dead leaf yellow. I think they just need some time to recover from his neglect. UC
