hi IC, hope all is well in the bushes
dropped by to show my new, smaller build.
I had to figure out something more discrete than my mid-air hanging DP90, so here it is:
it's a 40€ resin, pvc cab, 58cm width, 38 deep, 78 tall.
Kept all gear I had plus stuff lying around: 150W sonlight ballast, 125mm inline fan + 1m (3') tubing, temp/RH, 80mm pc fan cooling off the bulb, cut fruit plastic boxes, cardboard intake bottom, reflective "lightite", from the hydrostore.
There's a piece of old nylon stockings to keep the fan and the tube together, another piece of it seals the tube on the back. Some foam stripes around the fan, to keep vibrations down.
I wanted to save some vert space, and get the fan close to the bulb, while keeping it centered (actually, bulb is centered over an 40+ X 38 cm area, that is excluding the exhaust tube).
I don't think I'm introducing a very smart design - I have 33°C in the hottest spot, and it was 35°+ before I dropped the second fan in.
Reflector is made of a 4L beer plastic keg, cut in half, covered in reflective material, then stapled. Everything else is secured with twisty ties and iron wire.
Air intake is passive rectangle on the bottom 125-135 cm2, while exhaust fan conveys 190mq/min through 75 cm2.
dude is not light tight yet, and IS loud, like a gaming rig or a chunky AC...
not stealthy, but closer with this build.
I'm going to run some Durga Mata and 3 wappaXunknown sativa, who popped a week ago
