New growth in veg necrotic. Most tips brown and dead. Almost looks like botrytis but these are veg plants.

Bad environment at 85F and 65% + humidity but not affecting all plants, just 4 out of 30.

Have seen this before and once flowered they grew out of it somehow, assuming from being in a better environment. All others areas if the grow healthy, this is the only issue. No bugs, no PM, decent environment everywhere else.

Picture attached.

Have also considered fusarium but that seems like they would die immeadiately. It's not every growth tip, just some of them. Progresses in bad environment.

Have tried beneficial bacteria, nematodes, pyrethrins, and sulfur.

Any thoughts appreciated

I think a microscope or magnifying glass would show what the little dots are. It looks like some kind of insect infestation. Russett mites? Impossible to tell without a closer look at what's on that leaf.

Staghead is slow dieback of the upper branches on top of a plant; the dead, leafless limbs superficially resemble a stag's head. Dieback and staghead are caused by many fungi and a few bacteria that produce cankers, anthracnose, wilts, and stem or root rots. You can cut the dead parts off, but be careful and clean your snips and not transfer spores to other plants. 😎
