Mrs. ___ Organic Mix?

Hey guys...I was hoping someone could help me...i'm trying to avoid the grow shop and would like to purchase a complete organic soil that I could find at a Walmart or a home depot. I recently read a thread where someone was using a Mrs. "someone"'s organic potting mix or something of that sort...I read the ingredients and was like wow thats exactly what I would have added myself, and thought this is what I need....But like a dumbass instead of writting it down I told myself its alright i'll remember the name of that...

So I guess my question is, do you guys have any idea what this Mrs. mix is? or if not, what could I use that would suffice and fit these requirements...

It might have been mrs' shultz or mrs. b's...i dunno..

my second question is do you guys really water your organic soil without worrying about PH?

There is no ready made soil mix that I know of that is complete enough for our type of growing. Our plant needs more calcium, magnesium and humus than most "potting" plants.
Even mixes like Pro Mix and FFOF need extra powdered dolomite lime, perlite and worm castings to be a premium mix.

Instead of going to a grow shop, just buy whatever you need from an online general gardening store, they will have everything you will ever need to grow cannabis

Cool thanks guys...I appreciate the responses...I use FFOF most of the time...how much dolomite should i add? I usually add a small bag of perlite and then half a bag of light warrior to my 1 bag of FFOF...is this enough? Thanks again..

To each bag of FFOF I add 2 gallons perlite, 1 gallon worm castings and 2 cups powdered dolomite lime.

Thats awesome Burn1, thanks alot.... what is the deffinition exactly of vermicompost? I am very interested in making my own compost, however I am in an apartment...otherwise i'd make my own wormfarm....if there is any way to do this indoors and still maintain the hygenics of a normal person, please let me know...I've always pictured this monsterous nasty decomposing tub of like a thousand worms spilling out into my life...kinda scares me but i'd love to be able to do this..anyone have a link about using cat shit or know anything about it? I feed them regular cat food (cat chow), but i have two huge twenty pound cats that shit alot...I feel like cat shit is one manure you can't really use...dunno why though, just a hunch.
